I blinked wearily a few times before properly opening my eyes, and checked the time: 8:35am. A wide grin formed on my face as only one thought was running through my mind, today is the day. Today is the day I get to meet them! The summer holidays had just started, so we didn't even need to worry about college work!

~ hours later - mid afternoon~

It was 2 o'clock, and the fan signing didn't start until 5pm. Hardly about to contain our excitement, Beth and I debated what to do next - we'd taken the train here and were a few hours early, but being in London we both knew we wouldn't get bored.
"Shopping?" She asked, hooking her arm through mine and I smiled back and agreed, "Shopping!"

Of course, London shopping didn't disappoint - Beth bought some skirts and comfy clothes, whereas I went for some jewellery and some new jeans - I really was in need of some new pairs! As we were exiting one particular store, something in the corner of my eye made me do a double take and walk back into the shop.
"Beth, what do you think of this?" I asked, holding it up. 'It' being a dress, a deep maroon/plum colour, made of chiffon material. The back was flowing and floor length, and the front was cut to just above the knees. Small crystal gems were embedded across the waist, and frankly it looked stunning. I couldn't describe it properly in words but it was beautiful.
"Aw! That's so pretty, good find!" She gasped, and immediately checked the price. "And it's on sale... You have to get it!"
I laughed, and replied with, "But when will I ever get an occasion to wear it?" I don't have a boyfriend so won't be used for dates, and I haven't had any major events or proper parties to attend recently. Beth just shrugged and smiled, "Does it matter? Something will come up eventually, just don't give up this dress!"

After paying and leaving once again, the two of us headed straight for a French café that didn't look too busy and sat down at a table, putting the shopping bags down and making ourselves comfortable. I glanced around and my eyes fell on the clock, which read "..4:45?!" I exclaimed, and Beth widened her eyes. Oh crap, I thought, grabbing my bags and running out of the café with Beth right behind me, and made a beeline for the venue. No way could we be late, I couldn't believe we'd been so careless...

~15 minutes later~

Being near the back wasn't pleasant - the fans had been queuing since morning for the best spots, so we were left to the rear of the queue, but we weren't too behind, there were still fans arriving after us. There were so many people in front that it was almost impossible to see, yet after what felt like ages we were finally making our way closer and closer... And that's when I could see the boys. My face lit up and I let out a little squeal of excitement and grabbed Beth's arm, as she jumped up and down on the spot.
"Sam! We're nearly there, oh my god, we're going to be face to face with them soon!" She laughed, and I cheered as she was right. Suddenly, a security guard tapped my shoulder... Confused, I asked him if everything was alright.

"I'm afraid you two are going to have to come with me to sort this out."

~an hour later~

Beth and I were sat in an almost empty room, which was small and bare, containing only a desk and some chairs, in which she and I sat stiffly. Well I was anyway, Beth had slumped slightly in her chair, looking on the verge of tears, and I had the same feeling. We could hear the thumping of music from the walls and cheering, meaning BTS were doing their ending performance. I stood up and kicked the desk in frustration; we came all the way to see our idols, not to sit in this dull room when we had done nothing wrong! As I was about to shout out in agony, the security guard opened the door and walked back into the room.
"We are extremely sorry for making you wait like this, there has been a breach of regulations this evening and we were given false information that you two were behind it - we were carrying out our job and had to check all the details, I'm so sorry." He did look apologetic, so my angry gaze softened slightly. Beth's didn't, and I knew we needed to go before she screamed at him.
"We can leave now?" I hopefully asked, and he only had time to nod before I grabbed Beth's wrist and ran out of that horrible place, and we sprinted to back to the hall, praying it wasn't too late...
