The Way Things Are Supposed To Be!

Mia was the first one to talk, "why are you all out here on the beach instead of at the party"? she asked and than placed her hand on Jacks shouder

jack just said" well Jckie came down here to see the water and I came looking for her to make sure everything was ok"

"oh ok, well how did you know where she would be" Mia asked

"because this is where she always came when she was thinking about something" Jack said as he very carefully stood up and brushed the sand of the back of his shorts.

Jackie stood up also wiping the sand of the back of her shorts and grabbing her phone and her shoes she started walking back towards Jacks house.

jack looked after her and sighed, "why don't we make love"? Mia asked, Jack turned to look back at her and asked" when and where "? Mia pulled him back down into a sitting position onto the sand and than straddled his lap.

"right here, right now" Mia said kissing his neck, Jack could feel himself getting exicted and wanted to find his release soon, but not here not with Mia and he knew without a doubt Jackie was watching them, he wasn't going to hurt her by making love right in front of her.

He quickly grabbed Mias head and deeply kissed her and than gently pushed her off him, jumping up fast, "its getting late and the kids will be going to be soon, I am going to help get them into bed" he said walking back towards his house.

"you know they have a mother and as far as I can tell shes capable of getting them ready and into bed herself, she has for the past 3 years" Mia said while she jumped up outta the sand and running after him.

"i know she is capable of and has been doing it all on her own, but while their here, I am going to help her" Jack said

"whatever, after you get them into bed, were making love" Mia said grabbing his arm

Jacks house

it had taken them three hours for all the family to leave for the night and had gotten the kids into the bath and out, brushed their teeth, brushed the girls hair and 2 good nigh stories, right now Jack was giving the boys kisses and was walking out of their bedroom door, he was exhausted and beyond ready for bed, he had no idea how Jackie did this by herself every single night. he quickly walked to his bedroom door but before he went In, he noticed the kitchen light on, closing his bedroom door he quickly walked the stairs.

Jack made it to the kitchen entry way and over to the outside door making sure it was locked tight, he than turned back towards the kitchen table and he didn't notice anybody, shugging he went to turn off the lights. that was when he heard small whimpering and talking, he turned towards the table and that is when he noticed Jackie her upper body in the kitchen chair the rest in the floor.

Jackie hadn't really been that spiritual, yes she said a prayer every now and than but she figured now more than ever that Patrick needed prayers, so whoever was up in the great sky above she was going to make sure they heard every prayer she said and made her baby boy better again!

so here she was in the kitchen of her ex husbands house pouring her heart out, she knew her children was asleep and she assumed that Jack and Mia was too, so it kind of scared her when she felt herself getting picked up into strong arms.

she relaxed through when she opened her eyes and was face to face with Jack, all he did was smile and than sat her down on the couch in the livingroom, he sat down beside her.

"oh jack what about your back" she asked

"its ok" he said than brought her into his arms once more this time however they both owed their heads and started praying for their baby boy!

jacks p.o.v

no wonder I hadn't noticed Jackie when I first came into the kitchen the table was blocking her, I did what I knew she needed right now well what we both needed right now and that was each other, so it was natural when I picked her up and took her to the couch, yes my back didn't like that none, and she was concered she had hurt it more! no my back right now was the least of our concerns our main concern had to Patrick!

after the couple had finished praying they both felt a moment of peace.

jack spoke first" I am sorry Jackie, I will be sorry for what I did"

Jackie shook her head"no jack were not talking about that anymore that is in the past and its where its going to stay" she than qently kissed his cheek, saying "good night" as she stood and walked towards the stairs.

"Jackie" jack called. she didn't bother to turn around. Jack quickly called out "Jackie, I love you"

Jackie didn't stop walking she didn't turn around she just sighed deeply, when she made up the last couple of stairs to her room, she opened the door and closing she slid down it to the floor, crying she said to herself" this isn't how things are susposed to be and no matter how hard I try and convince myself I shouldn't, I still love you too, jack kennedy"!
