The Way Things Are Supposed To Be!

"Come on, come on, come on" Jackie mumbled as she pressed the green up button on the elevator.

A few seconds later, the silver elevator door finally dinged and slowly opened.

Jackie wasted no time walking on to the elevator and quickly found the black button on the wall and pressing the black button for the 6th floor.

The elevators Shiney sliver doors slowly slid shut and the lift jerked a little bit as it headed towards her destination.

She saw the white number lights above the elevator doors light up as it reached floors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and finally 6. When the elevator hit the 6th floor the doors dinged and slowly slid open.

Jackie quickly walked off the elevator, to the right of her was a long white hallway with brown and black doors all up and down the walls. To the left of her was exactly like on the right. She rolled her eyes she hadn't thought to ask the doctor what room number Patrick was in she thought to herself, "ok need to find a nurse because I am going insane if I don't get my baby in my arms now"! Jackie exclaimed

She decided to find a nurses station which was at the end of the hall on the right hand side, at least there was a sign indicating where the nurses station was located at, so she jogged to it as fast as she could.

The bright pink desk came into her side and she could see 3 nurses sitting in black chairs, one of the nurses, the man with the balding head was on the yellow phone sitting on the desk, a younger man with brown hair and blue eyes was in the chair next to the older man and was throwing a little red basketball up into the air, and finally next to the young man sat a girl that looked like she was about 12 years old.

The young girl was the one who saw Jackie coming " she asked if she could help her" putting on a big pearly white smile.

"Yes, I am trying to find my baby, he just had surgery was supposed to be in the recovery room but I was just there and somebody said he had already been transported up here"

The girl looked at Jackie and said " Ok mam and what is the name"?

"Patrick Bouvier Kennedy" Jackie replied

"Oh yes they just brought that angel up here, he is in room 613, which is down the hall behind you on the left hand side" she called as Jackie turned around and ran to Patricks room.

"No my tummy don't hurt right now, but I want my mummy" Patrick was telling a older woman in a doctor's lab coat as Jackie walked into the room.

" Oh baby, I am right here" Jackie cried as she went over to the bed and got Patrick into her arms.

"Mrs Kennedy, you found us, my name is doctor petes" the doctor said to jackie

Jackie sat down onto the bed beside of Patrick and extended out her hand, shacking the doctors hand, she said " nice to meet you doctor, my name is Bouvier not Kennedy thro".

"Oh well sorry" dr. Petes said

"Its quite already, Is Patrick doing ok? Jackie asked

"Yes, he is doing very well and I will leave you two alone now" dr. Petes said as she was walking out off doir.

"Mummy, where's daddy"? Patrick asked

"Him, Bella, Caroline, John, Uncle Bobby and Aunt Kick are still down in the er, but will be up here in a minute". Jackie said kissing his head

"Oh good, smelly ole mia, ain't here" Patrick exclaimed

"Oh baby, you need to be nice, she's here also and your daddy is probably going to be marrying her one day soon" Jackie said
