After a few seconds of nobody opening up the door to the room, and Jack and Jackie were holding their breaths, the brown door opened and in walked a very worried looking Kick and Bobby.

"Why didn't you all say, come in for" bobby asked

"Because I was scared you might be the doctor with bad news on Patrick" jack said "I am so glad your here" he also added.

"Of course Jack were always here for you no matter what" Kick said coming father into the room and giving Jack a hug.

"And were here for you too, Jackie, we might add" bobby said taking a now crying Jackie. into his arms and hugging her tightly.

Before anybody could say or do anything, Jack was up off the bed and had  taken Jackie outta Bobbys arms and now she was tightly in his , stroking her hair and whispering soft, sweet words in her ear.

Bobby and Kick exchanged looks, how were Jack and Jackie so close all of the sudden, before they could ask, Jack was pulling Jackie thru  the yellow door in the corner of the room by the t.v. leading them alone in the small bathroom.

Jack sat Jackie onto the small toilet and than turned around grabbing paper towels out of the machine on the wall by the door, he then proceeded to turn on the water at the sink, he let the water warm a little bit, than wet the paper towels, he than turned back around to face Jackie.

Very  gently  he started wipping away Jackie's tears, " thank you Jack". Jackie said pulling him into a hug.

"for what" Jack asked a little confused as to what she was thanking him for.

Jackie smiled and looked up into his eyes" for being here for us and well me" Jackie said quietly

jack pressed her head into his stomach" you don't  have to thank me Jackie, there is no where else I would be at this time and you don't always have to be the strong one" he said.

" yes I do too because there is no one there for me so I have to be there for myself, what better person for the job:" she asked.

Before Jack could say anything John came bounding thru the door " I have to go to the bathroom" John squealed. "ok, babe, do you need any help?" Jackie asked him as she stood up from the toilet.

"no mummy I don't need help but I do need some privacy" john informed her

"Ok well than" Jack said while him and Jackie laughed walking out the door and shutting it behind her, Jackie heard her phone ding again.

Her phone was still lying on the bed so Bobby who had taken a seat in the chair by the ned picked up the phone and than decided to flip it open and pressed the button to view text now.

"Oh wow Jack your in trouble now" Bobby said'

"what are talking about" jack asked him, bobby handed him the phone and there on the screen of the phone was a pic message of Mia holding a positive pregnancy test'

"What the hell" Jack asked

By his sudden outburst made Kick and Jackie even more curious as to what was on the phone, Kick crawled from the top of the bed to the end of it and took the phone from Jack.

"oh gosh I think I am going to loose my lunch " kick said.

"What is going on, why have you all gone bananas" Jackie asked, walking over and trying to take her phone from Kick but she wasn't fast enough because Jack grabbed the phone from kick.

"How the hell do you delete a pic from this stupid phone" jack grumbled out loud

Jackie started tickling his ribs, " stop it, Jackie" jack said laughing

"Not til I see my phone" Jackie said smiling

"What no, no" jack said "you don't need your phone there is better ways to communicate with people".

Next thing Jack knew was he felt his back gave out when he felt a little John try to climb onto it, and than Jack and John ended up backwards on the bed, it would of been a very situation if when Jack lost control of his back as he fell he also let the phone fall to the floor and Jackie grabbed up.

"Well all I have to say is congratulations" Jackie said smiling and looking at Jack.

All of the sudden there was a knock on the door and than in walked Mia, "where is jack" she began but than she saw him lying on the bed, she rushed over and started sobbing" I was so worried, when you all left in such a big hurry, oh my, where is the little guy, is he alright"?

"He's in surgery right now" jack said sitting up on the bed.

"surgery for what" Mia bellowed

"to have the tumor taken out of his stomach" jack said "why are you even here, I thought you didn't believe he was that sick"

Mias eyes flashed "Ii never said that" she said while she glared at Jackie

"I read the text"  jack said angrily

" look jack baby, I didn't mean it and that was just between me and Jackie" Mia said

"well I make it my business when you mess with my family" jack yelled

"she's not part of your family anymore, I am and this baby that we made that is growing in my stomach" Mia said grabbing Jacks hand and placing it on her stomach.

Jack rolled his eyes, he didn't wanna be with Mia anymore but he couldn't deny his baby.

Suddenly there was another knock at the door, Dr. Chan opened up the door and walked into the room.

"hello Mr. Kennedy  Mrs. Bouiver, how are you all thIs evening?" the doctor asked

"how is he, how did the surgery go" Jackie and Jack asked at the time.

"well as good as can be expected we got about 89 percent of the tumor, I am hoping with chemo treatmnts it will help with the rest, but we did have to take apart his small instine, and at another time we will have to go back i n and reconnect it" dr. Chan said.

"Right now however he is in the recovery room, waking up and calling for you Ms. Bouiver".

Jack, Jackie, Bobby, Kick, Caroline, Bell and John all started whopping and hollering.

Jackie let out the breath she wasn't aware that she had been holding and forgetting her place was about to fall into Jacks arms, Mia however was already quite content in his arms

Jackie turned towards Bobby and said" I am going to the recovery room to see Patrick, I guess I will see you all in his room in a little while"

"ok Jackie you sure you will be ok by yourself" bobby asked

"ya I will be fine" Jackie lied

jack went to go with her as Jackie was walking out the door.

"no stay here" Jackie whispered

Jackie than walked out the door and as it closed behind her, she leaned against it thanking God that her baby was ok, and also starting to cry because for a second time in her life she lost her husband.

She quickly tried up her tears and mentally kicking herself for getting her hopes up of becoming a family again she quickly took off into a run to the elevators that would take her to her baby boy!
