The Way Things Are Supposed To Be!

jackies bedroom

morning had came entirely too soon and sun was streaming thru the bedroom window right on her face and she could also hear birds chirping, she hated mornings and wished that Patrick had somehow during the night gotten better.

 she sighed she would hope that til it happens and it will happen one day soon!,

she rolled over onto her stomach no use in even trying to go back to sleep she tought because shes gotta pee!

she quickly sat up on the edge of the bed and grabbed her phone off the table, she had a new text but that could wait.

 she noticed that it was almost 10:30, that's odd she knew her babies would of been up before now and wanted her up to get breakfast....everything better be ok, she tought to herself!

 as she headed towards the bathroom, a couple of minutes later she came out of the bathroom and went to check on her children, getting scared thro when none of them was in their beds, she than heard laughing coming from downstairs....

the livingroom

the Christmas tree was up and in front of the big bay window, only half decorated, red and gold garland lying all over the love seat, three paper boxes sat in the chair.

well looks like Christmas is here in September for Patrick, just in case something haooens we need to celebrate erly, Jackie thought  to herself, but none of her babies were anywhere in sight, than she heard laughing, she quickly spun around and walked into the kitchen letting out the breath she wasn't aware she was even holding!

Jackie couldn't help but to laugh at the sight that was in the kitchen, there was broken egg shell in the floor, on the counters and on the kitchen table. there was white flour on every surface you could see and than there was her babies!

Caroline and Bella had flour on their noses and in their hair, they were fighting over a big blue bowl on the counter while bella had a red whip in her hand.

Patrick had chocolate chip pieces all over the table in front of him and in the floor , while John had blue all over his face and hands and Jack had blue hair while he was sitting in the chair beside of John trying to get the blue which was blueberries back into the red and orange bowl on the table.

"oh my Lord what did you all do to my" Jackie started but got cut off by Mia, who walked in the kitchen beside of her.

"Jack Kennedy what the hell did you all do to my kitchen "? she yelled

all four of the kids and Jack froze in place and stared at Jackie and Mia

john finally raced over to Jackie and giving her a very messy hug said" good morning mummy"

Patrick jumped out of the chair he was in and rushed over to his mother also, "mummy, mummy, mummy, we were making breakfast with daddy" he cried

"i can see that"  Jackie said while she patted him on the bottom.

"jack I aint cleaning up this damn mess" Mia hollered as she ran back upstairs.

jack looked at Jackie "oh good your up, the blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes are almost ready" he said as he went over to the stove and started making pancakes.

Jackie took a seat at the kitchen table and smiled, bending down and pulling Patrick into her lap she asked him"if he had a good night"

"yes mummy, but my tummy hurts" Patrick cried

"awe baby I know, I will get you some pain meds hopefull that will help" Jackie said about to get up from the table, when Jack hnded the splacula to bella and told her to be carefull, he than rushed over to Jackie and asked" where the pain meds where, that he would get them"

Jackie smiled and said "no its ok, it was in her purse upstairs in her room, and that she would get them" before however she had finished Jack ran out of the room, he was back within seconds with the pills.

"caroline, darling" jack said" can you please get your brother a glass of water?

"yes, daddy" Caroline said

caroline got the glass of water and handed it to jack, he than got Patrick from Jackie and gave him the pills and glass of water" ok, buddy I need you to be a big boy and take your meds so your belly will feel better" Jack said.

"no, daddy, I don't wanna" Patrick cried, Jackie was about to get Patrick, but than Jack whrispered something im his ear and Patrick smiled and took the pills from jack and taking a big sip of water, "he said ok daddy, they are all gone"!

"good job buddy" jack said giving Patrick a high five

"ok there all done" Bella said bringing a plate full of pancakes to the table

"good job, baby they look great"Jack said giving Bella a hug.

jack sat down in the chair beside of Jackie as john, caroline and bella also took their seats, as Jackie cut up a chocolate chip pancake for Patrick and added a lot of maple syruo, jack had gotten 3 blueberry pancakes on a plate and adding syrup and whipped cream he put the plate in front of Jackie.

Jackie looked down at the food and than at jack, "thank you" she said

Jack just smiled and said "anytime"

"What about mia"? John asked

"Ya shoukd I go get her daddy" Bella asked

"No, she knows how to come back down here and shes not part of this family" Jack said

As the family finished up their delicious meal, Jackie had remembered the text she had received, pulling her phone from her robe pocket, she hit the button to view the message now...how odd she thought it was from Mia...
