Olivia Harvey is the niece of Peter Chiarelli, the current general manager of the Boston Bruins. Following her high school graduation, she came to Boston to attend University. She stayed at her uncle’s house. Growing up in New York, Olivia was an Islanders fan. Of course, she wasn’t sure how she would like the transition from an Islanders household to a Bruins ones. Over time, she would begin to take interest in the team her uncle works for.
When Peter noticed how greatly invested Olivia was into the hockey team, he suggested to the head coach (Claude Julien) that she could help out with the organization… in some way. That was the moment Olivia was given a chance of a lifetime; a chance to work with the Boston Bruins.
After that infamous Boston Stanley Cup victory, Olivia officially began her duties as a Bruins coach/assistant/her unofficial title.
Olivia never knew that her decision to come to Boston to attend University who change her life forever.
