Why does Tyler always show up at the worst times possible? It's like he knows that I'm happy and he wants to ruin my happiness. Does he seriously want to hurt me that bad that he's willing to hurt all the good things in my life? It just isn't fair to me and to everyone else.

He walked into the change room without an invitation. "I don't get you," he stated.

I furrowed my eyes. "What are you talking about?" I questioned.

"First, we're good friends... like really good. We're best friends. Then, you get irritated with me. Then, we kiss each other and-" Tyler starts to do some crazy arm movements in the air. "I don't know what's going on... are we friends or not? You never talk to me anymore! What happened to you?" he inquired.

I felt offended by his comment. I put my right hand on my chest. "To me?" I asked.

"Yes, you!" he roared.

"What happened to you?" I retorted.

Tyler furrowed his eyebrows. "What are you talking about?" he enquired.

"First of all, we're best friends... I'm glad of it. Then, you start hugging me intimately; you start acting like you're my boyfriend! You start to crudely talk about your future teammate. You show up un-expectedly in Edmonton where you stalk Dougie and me; you get enraged at me because I kissed my boyfriend. Then a little thought appears in your head and you listen to it. So, you lie to both mine and Dougie's face! How dare you!" I bellowed.

"I was protecting-"

Tyler was getting on my nerves... yet again. This time, I've had enough. "Shut the hell up, Tyler!" I roared his face was stunned by what I just told him. "You've been saying that the day I've met you. That's never going to happen! I'm a big girl; I can handle my own decisions. Got it?" I asked.

He opened his mouth to tell me something. "Don't even say anything because I really don't want to hear it! You lied to me, like Dougie would ever break my heart! You aren't freaking serous are you? If anyone will hurt me... it's you, Tyler," I expressed.

"Really?"

"Don't you even try to make that into your own thing," I threatened.

"Don't worry I will... I'll add more twist and turns too," he stated. I rolled my eyes. "Do you remember when I got drafted?" he questioned.

I nodded. "What about it?"

"When I first met you, you never talked to me. It was because you liked me, even if you never admitted it," he said.

I furrowed my eyes; I wasn't catching what he was saying. "What's your point?" I inquired.

"My point is why did you notice Dougie and not me? What did he have that I didn't?" he questioned.

"That is all you're asking?" He nodded. I was shocked, that's all Tyler wanted to know. That was everything? "I noticed him before the draft... I picked him."

"You picked him?"

I nodded. "I picked him," I confirmed.

"Why?"

"I saw a tape that my uncle gave me. I observed it closely; I noticed that he took it seriously. After the game when they won, he had the biggest and brightest smile on his face. He loved Hockey... he had the drive, the passion, the fire; everything I liked in a hockey player. That's why I noticed him," I admitted.

I left the change room, bumping Tyler's shoulder on the way out. Of course, he followed me... again. "Where are you going?" he questioned.

"I'm leaving," I responded.
