**All characters in the Harry Potter series go to J. K. Rowling. Madeline, Madeline ll, Arabella and Toby are mine! :)**

Damn

Fred's pov-

"Maddie!" Many voices screamed. It was like she was consumed in a bright white light. I stared at the spot where my beloved wife once was as voices screamed "Stupefy!" There was a wheezing sound and then a cold chill in the air. Then silence.

"Damn." I whispered. Arabella gripped onto my waist tighter and I let out a sigh.

"Fred." A voice said calmly. I turned slowly and saw Harry offering me a hand. I stood up and looked around. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and George all looked at me. "Fred she's in a better place now." Harry whispered.

"Come on now. Bells and Toby have been through enough. Let's get them home." Hermione said sternly. She took Bella's hand and apparated out. Harry and Ron took one look at me before also apparating out. Toby orbed out. George offered me a hand and we apparated out.

Scattered around the room people were sitting next to eachother. Hermione was trying to cheer Arabella. Toby was talking to Harry, whom was kneeling on the floor above him. "Hey George." I said suddenly. George whipped his head towards me and gave me a smile. "Nothing lasts forever, huh?"

He nodded sadly before giving me a hug. "Hey Freddie, we'll see her again, I promise." And with that, a single tear ran down my cheek and I let out a long sigh.

******September 1st********

"Teddy! Hurry up!" Arabella and Madeline called. Teddy Lupin was now going into his first year at Hogwarts. He pushed his trolley through the barrier at Platform Nine and Three Quaters. I followed through behind Arabella and Madeline. The gleaming Hogwarts express and all its magnificent beauty stood proudly in front of us. Students were rushing on to the train and parents were waving goodbye.

"Arabella!" I called. She turned around and threw her arms around me. "Be good this year to Teddy, cause lots of mishief and don't get caught." I said to her. Hermione who was behind me next to Ron, light slapped the back of my head. "Ouch! Ok, just be good. Is that better Hermione?"

"Yes!" She said sternly. Arbella hugged me tighter before letting go.

"I promise to write. And I'll be home for Christmas!" She squeaked. I chuckled and ruffled her hair.

"Hey Bells! Come here a minute!" Harry called. We both walked over to him and Ginny and he was holding out a parcel for her. "Hey Bells. Can you do me a favor?"

She nodded excitedly.

"Can you give this book to Professor McGonagall?" Harry asked. She grasped the book and nodded again. "Thanks!" She gave him a hug before she joined Madeline and Teddy in boarding the train. "Where is Toby?" Harry asked.

"Already at Hogwarts. He just comes and goes whenever really." I stated.

And with a final whistle, the train departed. "Hey Fred, whay are you doing this afternoon?" Harry and Ginny asked. By this time the platform began to empty of parents. George, Angelina, Ron, and Hermione walked up to us.

"Umm, I don't think I have anything planned, why?" I replied.

"Well tonight in Diagon Alley I'm finally releasing that book I've been working on and I'd like you to be there." Harry smiled.

"The book about Maddie? Of course I'll be there!" I grinned.

"Same goes to all of you, if you'd like to come. Just meet at Flourish and Blotts at around 5." Harry announced to the rest of our group. Murmurs of agreement went around and then they started apparating away. I apparated to my cozy home and had a spot of tea.
