Taking Affect-

"The wedding is just a week away! I think I have the bloody right to be nervous!" I hissed at Teddy. Teddy, Victoire, Toby and me were at the my house, and they were trying to help me finish all the stuff for the wedding. Victoire and Teddy were finishing the seating chart, and Toby was been rather harsh to me.

"You wouldn't have to be nervous if you weren't getting married! You are only 19 years old!" He hissed.

"Yes, a 19 year old adult who wants her father at her wedding!" I snapped back. I had told Toby about the potion, and about how are dad was going to die. He was upset. Toby  was silent after I said that. "Anyway, you should be happy for me, I'll finally be able to call Elliot mine forever." I said in a daze.

"Hey Bella, should we put your little group of friends together?" Victoire called. I nodded to her.

"Anyways, you should go upstairs to dad Toby, the potion, it's starting to take effect. " I commented. He nodded and disappeared. I slumped down on the couch and sighed. "Oh I'm so nervous.. oh no.. oh geez!"

Teddy and Victoire came and sat next to me. They had both happiness and excitement in their eyes, but also sadness. Everyone knew that my father was going to die. And everyone felt the need to pity me. "We finished the seating chart." They said together. I looked at them closely. Teddy was going into his final year at Hogwarts, and Victoire going into her sixth year. Teddy was very handsome, and well liked. And Victoire was very popular at Hogwarts, she was top of her class, and the boys were practically drooling over her. But she had eyes for Teddy.

"Thanks you guys." I said before looking over the chart and nodding. "I can't believe I'm getting married." I smiled.

"Well, it's not like that wasn't going to  happen. You guys have been going out for three years, but it was obvious that you guys liked each other since second year. Plus you two are practically glued to each other. Plus, I think that you two were just meant to be. " Victoire commented.

"I really do love him." I said. They smiled at me.

"How's your dad?" Teddy asked. My smile faltered a bit.

"The potion is starting to take affect. Right now, he's just got the minor symptoms; runny nose, headaches, stuff like that. But it's just a matter of time until the dangerous stuff starts happening. I went over to this potion master the other day, Slughorn I think his name was- anyway, he was an ancient fella and knew all about potions. I explained to him my situation and he said that the potion is taking longer than it should be, so that's good I guess."

"I'm stronger than you think Bells." Someone said at the base of the stairway. My dad was there, in a robe and slippers. "Anyways, did you cook dinner? Or should I order something?" He asked.

I smiled at him. "I cooked some chicken and rice. It's on the stove." I told him. He nodded and walked over to the kitchen. "Elliot and Draco are coming over tonight as well, so don't eat all of it!" He grunted in response.

"Well, I think Vic and I'll leave. We have to help her mum and dad take care of Louis. He's already three years old and causing trouble." He said. I hugged them both goodbye and they left. I walked over to my dad, who already started to eat when the door rang. "Oh good, they're here."

I opened the door and let them both him. Elliot gave me kiss and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Hello to you too." I giggled. I looked up at Draco. "My father is in the kitchen, there is some food already on a plate for you."
