Little Fairytale

Maddie's pov-

I woke up with one of the biggest headaches in my life and a rag on my forehead. Lily was standing over me, as was Tonks. Both had concern etched on their faces. "W-What happened?" I asked them.

"Maddie! You should know that what you did was very dangerous!" Lily scolded. I smiled.

"I'm sorry, I had to talk to Bella one more time." I replied. "I promise I won't do it again." She stared at me longer before standing up and leaving the room. I looked at Tonks who was smiling at me.

"Something happened when you were knocked out." She said, twirling a piece of her hair between her fingers. I raised an eyebrow. "When contacting Bella, you awoke the Metamorphmagus inside of her." She concluded.

"What!? That's awesome!" I smiled. She nodded excitedly. "Do you know what they are doing right now?" I asked. She nodded her head yes. She brought out the dial and turned it to Arabella Weasley. The basin swirled for a moment before a clear image of my daughter and Elliot appeared. Arabella was sitting across from Elliot, laughing and sipping Butterbeer.

"They're on a date!" Tonks squealed. I felt myself smiling down at my daughter, knowing that she found someone who will take care of her. "Oh and Maddie, I was watching her earlier, and she said something that would have really touched you." Tonks added. I looked up at her.

"What was it?"

"She says she will only start dating fifth year." She said simply.

"I-I don't understand.." I confessed. Tonks put a hand on my shoulder.

"She will only start dating fifth year because that's when her mum and dad met." Tonks finished. I nearly started to tear up.

"That's so beautiful.." I commented. She smiled and then left, leaving me alone with the Dial. Examining the Dial, I also noticed a new name on it: Teddy Lupin. I let my finger graze over it slowly. I completely forgot that Tonks and Remus' child is down their without a mother or father..  I reread the other names on the dial when my eyes landed on two names: Harry Potter and Fred Weasley. I turned the Dial to Harry Potter and watched as the image of Arabella change to Harry.

He was sitting in what looked like his office at the Ministry of Magic. He was scribbling down something on a piece of parchment, his black hair covering his eyes slightly. "Oh Harry.. I miss you so much." I sighed.

I turned the Dial to the next name. Fred Weasley.  Fred was in the joke shop, helping customers, a very small smile on his face. He never seemed happy anymore. A ringing of a bell stopped me from my train of thought and I looked back down at the basin. Hermione walked in.

"Hello 'Mione, how are you?" Fred asked, while restocking a bowl full of bracelets.

"Very well, thanks Fred." She replied, looking around the joke shop. "And you?"

"Oh you know," He paused and scratched his head. "Hanging in there." He finished. Hermione scanned his face and frowned.

"Fred, everyone's concerned about you.. again." Hermione blurted. Fred locked eyes with her and you could tell how hurt he's been. "Fred, I hate to say it, but you've got to accept the facts. It's been years since it's happened.." Hermione's voice trailed off.

"I'm trying." Fred whispered. "I really am trying. But it's hard.. Everyone around me keeps reminding me of her..It's like the world doesn't want me to forget!" He snapped.

"Fred. You don't have to forget. You just move on. You still have her, She's still yours.."

Fred stopped abruptly. A genuine smile reached his lips and he turned to her. "Hermione teach me how to drive." He said suddenly. Hermione was taken back by the demand.

"W-What?" She stuttered.

"Teach me how to drive." Fred said sternly. "That'll help me get her off my mind. Teach me how to drive." Fred finished. Hermione seemed to stifle a laugh.

"Wait, you are a thirty-something year old man and you haven't gotten your driver's license?" Hermione asked. Fred turned pink.

"I preferred apparating.." He confessed. Hermione giggled.

"Ok, I'll teach you how to drive. Look for my owl." She said leaving the shop. I guess everyone is doing alright.

"MADDIE! COME HERE PLEEASE!" Someone shouted from the other room. I rolled my eyes, but put down the vial nonetheless and walked into the room. Sirius was glaring at me and James was on the ground laughing.

"Yes Padfoot?" I said innocently. If looks could kill I would be slaughtered!

"Why in the world is my arse stuck to this chair!?" He snarled. I started to laugh hysterically with my dad. Remus and Tonks walked into the room, staring at me suspiciously.

"I told you I would get you back!" I said in between laughs. "And if you honestly down know the counter charm then it sucks to be you. Now, I will be in the back room if you need me!" I said as I skipped out of the room.

"Maddie! Maddie!" Sirius called. "Prongs! Go get your daughter!" I heard him hiss. James just laughed harder.

Back in the room with the dial, I switched in back to Arabella, and continued to watch their date in Hogsmeade. They went to Honeydukes, Madame Puddifoot's, and Tomes and Scrolls before returning to the castle.

It was at that moment I realized, they were creating their own little fairytale.

Third person pov-

Elliot and Arabella continued to hangout every single night. Their friends were relived to see that they finally admitted to liking each other. All the way, up until Christmas, they were inseparable. But as Christmas vacation did come around, they parted ways as Elliot was staying for Christmas and Bella wasn't.

Fred had started to learn how to drive under the guidance of Hermione. A month or two of being scolded at and snapped at by the careful Hermione, Fred got his license! He put his brand new power to use as he drove to King's Cross Station to pick up his daughter and her cousins for Christmas.

As for Maddie, she continued to watch over everyone through the Dial. Lily and Tonks were concerned at the amount of time Maddie spends in a day watching the dial, but they all knew not to interrupt her..

SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING! I've been really busy and stuff and last night I got home at around 2 and then I've been studying because I have my highchool exit exam this week and I've also been editing my new fanfiction. 

Soo in other words, I've been busy. 

So question of the day: what's the weather like where you live? It's rainy where I live :)
