Dragon Pox

Dragon Pox-

Third person

"I'm so proud of Maddie." Lily said to her husband, who was sitting next to her. James hugged her waist.

"What makes you that?" James asked. Lily watched as Maddie played with Sirius in their animagus forms.

"She hasn't looked at the Dial in over a year. She's done living in the past and is ready for the future. Just like everyone else up here." Lily replied. Just then, Tonks came running up to them, with Remus in tow.  "Hello Tonks, how are you?" Lily asked. Tonks shook her head.

"I'm stressed out. I took a look at the dial today to check on Teddy, and I found out something." James and Lily leaned closer to her. "Arabella, Teddy, and even Toby has been infected with a nasty case of the Dragon Pox."

Maddie, being a wolf with keen hearing trotted over to Tonks and growled. She transformed and gave Tonks a panicked look. "What did you say Tonks?" She asked. Tonks' hair turned dark blue.

"Um just that Arabella has a nasty cold." Tonks replied. Maddie flinched at Arabella's name. Her mind completely forgot about her family down there. She's been keeping herself busy and everyone avoided metioning the living.

"That is not what you said Nymphadora." Maddie hissed. Tonks gave her a scared look and Maddie's face softened. "Please tell me what's happened. "

Tonks sighed. "Teddy, Arabella and Toby have come down with a case of Dragon Pox." Maddie looked almost relieved.

"That's it?" Everyone nodded. "Well they'll get over it. I mean, there's a cure for it! Dumbledore created it." She paused. "Speaking of Dumbledore, where is he? I never see him anymo-"

"Hello Madeline." Someone said from behind the group. It was Dumbledore. "I heard someone say my name, how could I be of service?" Dumbledore asked.  Maddie turned to him.

"I was just saying that you created a cure for Dragon Pox, so no body has to worry about the children that have it at Hogwarts." Maddie stated. But there was silence. Dumbledore's face slightly fell.

"Perhaps you didn't read correctly.. I started research into the cure for Dragon Pox.. but I never got around to finishing it.."  Dumbledore said. Both Maddie and Tonks' face fell and they were nearly in tears.

Dumbledore left and the group was speechless. Every single person in that group knew that Dragon Pox almost always killed the victim.

"Umm, where are we going?" I asked the nurses. They were all surrounding me and Teddy. Toby was in the corner looking rather faded.

"St. Mungos." A younger nurse replied. I sat up as they began wheeling my bed.

"Whaat? Why? I just have a cold, or flu. It's not that bad." The same nurse gave me a sympathetic look and patted my shoulder with a gloved hand.

"I'm sorry, you have Dragon Pox and you have to be quarantined. We don't want the entire population of Hogwarts coming down with Dragon Pox." She replied. I turned my head over to Teddy. His hair was a dull gray, as was mine. He had a green tinge to him.

"Teddy are you alright?" I called. He didn't even turn his head to me. He just gave me a thumbs down.

The nurses took Teddy, Toby and I to St. Mungos.We were in the Magical Bugs Ward.  We were all in a room with light blue walls. They gave us potions and I stared out cautiously at the Doctors who were observing us from a window.

"Psst. Arabella, what's going on?" Toby asked. I turned to him and gasped.

"Toby! You are nearly faded! I can barely even see you." I replied. That's when a horrible thought washed over me. "Please don't leave me."

Toby smiled at me. "Please Arabella, I'm not leaving." He chuckled. I turned to Teddy. "How are you doing Teddy? " Toby asked.

"I'm sick." He replied. I forced a laugh. "Of you are, that's why were here!" Teddy rolled his eyes and then rolled over so his back was facing us.

"Hey Toby." I said. "Toby, do you think people at Hogwarts know what's happened?" Before he could reply, I asked another question. "What about quidditch! I'm Captain again this year and- Oh what about Head Girl duties! And even classes! If I don't get better soon, then I'll have to repeat my final year at Hogwarts! Oh and-"

Knock-Knock

Toby and I turned our heads to where the doctors were. They pointed to a potion that magically appeared next to our beds. I drank it with out hesitation.

Knock-Knock

I turned my head again and saw my dad, Uncle George and Uncle Harry, and to my surprise Draco. I gave them a smile before the potion kicked in and I fell asleep.

Elliot's pov

"So anyone have any idea where Arabella and Teddy are?" I asked. Madeline shrugged as well as Pierre. I sighed and continued to push the piece of meat on plate around with my fork. Arabella's been gone for a couple of days, someone said that she wasn't feeling well but I check the infirmary and she wasn't there.

All our other Gryffindor friends seemed to brush it off as nothing, but as Arabella's boyfriend, I have a reason to worry. My thoughts were interrupted by our Headmistress.

"Before we go back to our common rooms tonight, I want the following people to stay behind for a word." And she began reading the list, I realized it was the entirety of Gryffindor house. "Alice Partridge, Pierre Jordan, and Elliot Malfoy." I felt hundreds of eyes on me. Why was I the only person from a different house?

As the other houses exited the Great Hall, the Gryffindor students and me walked up to the Head table. A couple of people, who looked liked St. Mungo's nurses walked towards us. "You all are probably wondering why you are here right now. Well, it seems that a few Gryffindors have come down with a case of Dragon Pox. Now Dragon Pox is a contagious disease and so we are just going to run a test to check if you have been infected." McGonagall said. She pushed her white hair back into her witche's hat and let the testing begin.

"Professor McGonagall! Who has been infected?" A younger student asked. I realized it to be Arabella's cousing, James. McGongall sighed.

"Arabella Weasley and Teddy Lupin." She replied. I nearly had a heart attack.

Spring Break is almost over and it makes me want to cry Because I kinda like waking up whenever I want.
