Chapter Twenty Seven

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"I am positive. Now just transfer it over before my fathers accountant notices anything. Make it as anonymous as you can." I could feel myself getting frustrated at the new accountant.

He exhaled in defeat. "Consider it done Miss Lockwood."

"Awesome. Don't forget to make the new account and send a bank card. I will give you the details as soon as you are finished."

"Very well."

I hung up and sighed. A massive wave of home sickness washed over me. I missed everyone so much. Today I was enrolling myself into high school, Savannah was meeting me here once school finished for the day.

"What have you gotten yourself into Masyn?" I think to myself. Feeling myself wander into self pity, I opted for a run.

I missed it. Craved it even.

That thought soon disappeared, I didn't have any active wear. This town was so small, it was lucky to have but a few shops. I suppose going for a ride wouldn't hurt. I searched the nearest city which happened to be an hour north of here. I was going to need more clothes.

I received a message from the accountant confirming that a new account was made and a bank card will be sent as soon as I replied with an address. It would be too easy if I hired an accountant from my family's company, far too easy. It'll lead them straight to me but being the sneaky and nosey person that I am, I overheard Ainsley talking to my Mom about them and hired an accountant from him. Almost cost my damn soul to find one, one who could not be traced when everything transferred to a new account.

My phone buzzed again, it was Savannah. 'Meet me outside in five .'

Dread crept up like shadows before night fall. I was feeling nervous and I hadn't left the apartment yet.

"You got this girl. You're only enrolling." I told myself, prepping myself. "Okay, breathe." I pushed myself off the couch, grabbed my jacket and headed out the door.

"Well don't you look excited!" I heard Savannahs husky voice, a hint of amusement in it. She was leaning out the window of a sleek Subaru STi.

"Is it really that obvious?" I scrunched my face like a grumpy kid.

"Hey, it was your idea!" She smirked. "C'mon, let's go."

I never thought this day would come when I'd actually sit my butt in a Subie. I always gave Luci crap about them, she loved them as much as I loved my Evo.

"You okay?" Savs voice registered my ears. She turned on the ignition and the car came to life.

"Yeah. I just remembered something." I faked a smile which earned me a side look but worked.

"I know the principle so this shouldn't take long to do. All you gotta do is jot down your details etcetera and hand them in. The admin person will give you your locker number and combinations, your class schedule and whatever other stuff you might need." Her eyes were glued to the road.

"Wow. I guess you know these people very well then huh?"

"It's a small town. Everyone knows everyone. It's not that hard." Her reply was very informing, almost robotic.

The ride there wasn't long, in fact I could have walked. It was literally a couple streets down from the apartment complex.

"Tell them I sent you." Was what she said before I left to enrol. I thought that was a little strange but proceeded to do so. Like she said, everything was done and dusted. I was given my class schedule, a map of the school, locker number and combination, a list of things I will need and a fees list for the rest of the year.

I could have started tomorrow which was a Friday but would rather ready myself for the next week to come.

I had asked Sav to drive me to the city to get everything. She had business to do there so it worked out. She also politely declined my offer later on to come shopping with me which was fine by me, I was used to doing things in my own but this time it would be only for myself. Would have to take some getting used to.

I was starting my weekend early because I was starting high school again.

Hi everyone! A nice and boring chapter to come back to! Sincerely sorry for the massive build ups about updating but alas! Here it is!! I'm getting my mojo back (two bloody years later -.- ) so hopefully another chapter will be in! I have so much coming for this book I'm super excited!!
