A/N: Sorry but this chapter is dedicated to my new friend xAISLINN who is the most positive person I've met here! She is totally awesome and I want to thank her so much for her positivity and encouragement. She is a kick ass writer and AMAZING at book covers (she did this one) and I'm in love with her story so I highly suggest you read it, it's called Goddess From Within

Masyn's P.O.V

So lemme break it down so you don't get confused.

My full name is Masyn Regina Blain-Lockwood. Bit of a mouthful but I love it. Regina comes from my grammy Lockwood, my step-dads mom. I guess I loved the name Regina so much that they put it down on my new birth certificate as my legal name.

Anyways, my parents are Tomas Lockwood and Dakota Rae Blain. Of course they are my adoptive parents, you see my real mom was an abuser of drugs, her name was Maggie. Not sure if she's alive still but I highly doubt it, the amount of drugs she took a day probably fried her brains and stuff.

When I was about six years old  she dumped me on the side of the highway in front of Dakotas gate. It was below freezing that night and I could have well froze to death considering that I was only clothed in a sun dress and a thin cardigan.

Dakota found me that night and took me in. I have no desire in finding Sian or my real dad, for all I care they can get stuffed. I'm glad she dumped me in front of that gate so, HA!

Back to the main purpose of introducing my parents, they are powerful Alphas. Yes, Alphas. They are both werewolves

They are both natural born Alphas but mom (Dakota) is a little special, being born to parents who were both Alphas because of this, mom and her older brother Jye have royal wolves, said to be the last of them on this earth. They have powers, mom is Fire and Spirit while uncle Jye is Earth and Water. They are opposites and have just recently discovered their gifts. Coz their mates are so intuned with them they are able to mirror their mates' gifts and utilise them.

My mom (Dakota) told me once that when she first met my dad (Tomas) all he wanted to do was claim her but nuh-uh! She didn't like all the testosterone and arrogance so she made him wait.

And wait he did! He waited a long time before he could mark her as his. Mom was still getting over some stuff with her parents passing, being new to the Alpha scene and running a pretty big pack. No doubt she had a lot of help.

She started to warm up to him and BOOM! I came into the scene! I was happy because I managed to convince dad to propose to mom a few months later, even though werewolves didn't need physical marriage once you find your mate, it's instant werewolf marriage without the whole wedding stuffs. Mom said yes blah blah blah we combined packs and moved into a new pack house in the center of the huge territory.

When that happend this guy visited me after school each day, asking questions and all sorts about my mom. I was a kid at the time so I didn't really know what the boundaries were.

So my mom and uncle Lukin scoped this guy out and that's all I remember. Mom never came back after that. I assumed it was all my fault.

As years went by I learned to dislike my mom knowing that she was the one hurting my dad, literally. Any tried to explain to me that something happend to her and that something evil dwelled in her which forced my mom to do the things she did. I guess you can say I took it the wrong way but hey! I was a confused kid.

I refused to believe it and made up in my mind that she was just being a major bish! Then they tell me at thirteen that everyone in the house was a werewolf other than Aunt Vicki who's a vampire.

A year ago dad went to war with mom and saved her from the darkness. A week after that mom went into depression and blamed herself for years of fighting and hurting dad. She tried to kill herself at that time by slitting her wrist but was unsuccessful when uncle Lukin, who's her guardian, got to her in time to stop the bleeding.

Mom was out for a couple of days then came to realise how selfish her little stunt was when she woke up. She's still coming to terms with what had happend and forgive herself. Dad never gave up on her and for that, I'm thankful.

And so there, that kinda sums up how I got here.
