Masyn P.O.V
~
"Masyn Regina Blain-Lockwood!" Dad stressed, pacing back and forth in front of me. He wasn't angry; just...not sure haha.
He stopped pacing and turned to me smirking.
Oh no!
"You're telling your mom."
My eyes widened. "What! Nuh-uh dad! Not by myself I'm not!"
"You were the one who wanted and got a tattoo so you tell her." he laughed.
"She'll kick my butt though!" I whined.
"Your butt pup, not mine." he says, still smirking. "What is it anyways?"
I made the mistake of waving my arms in the air like a dork when I was prancing around in my room and dad came in.
I groaned on my bed and straightened up. I extended my arm into the light so he could see it clearly. "It's both you and moms signatures in hearts." I traced the outside of the ink in my skin.
A big grin spread across dads face and he pulled me in for a one arm hug. "It's beautiful Mace." he kissed my head.
"Thanks dad." I snuggled into him.
"Oh look, your mom's home." he chuckled, it vibrated through his chest.
Sure enough, I could hear the elevator doors open and slide shut. Footsteps walked passed my room door and further down into the office.
"Tell her soon pup." Dad kissed my head again and walked out.
I grumbled under my breath and flopped against the covers. "Later."
I lay against the fluffy covers, staring at the ceiling. This weird feeling started to creep in as unknown fatigue set in. Although I was laying down, I felt light headed. It was truly a weird feeling, I was being seperated from my body again, watching as I floated above my body.
"Holy shit. Did I just die!" I gasped to myself.
My room blacked out and I found myself on cold concrete of the malls parking lot.
"Masyn RUN!!" Someone shouted for me.
I snapped my head up, looking around sharply. It was dark and I was sitting under the light of a street lamp that illuminated the lot. I shot up, guard up.
'Always keep your guard up Masy.' Never let it down.' Aunt Any's voice lingered in my mind.
"What are you doing! RUN!" The voice screamed.
I broke out into a sprint, heavy and hard footsteps followed me. I glanced back and a dark figure was gaining on me. I dug deep and pushed myself forward, like in all dreams when you're running for your life, you aren't getting anywhere.
"Come on!" I growled under my breath.
The footsteps were right behind me, I felt a hand brush against my back. "Nooo!" I cried and popped into another place. I lost my footing and fell forward into snow. I whipped back and no one was there...or so I thought.
I was freezing and the front part of my body was numb. Seeing that I was still dressed in the clothes I had today I wished I put a hoodie on. I got up and began rubbing my bare arms rapidly, to create some sort or friction and warmth.
"Fffhhh!" I shivered.
I looked around, I wasn't in a place I recognised. The soft crunch of snow caught my attention behind me.
