Chapter Seven.

Masyn P.O.V

Royden, Morgan and I sat on one side of the huge wooden table in the dining room table. Dad was seated at the top, mom to his right and on the otherside was Luci and a pretty beat up Mr Nickloson.

"Let's get to the point shall we, but first Mr Nickolson. Why have you entered our lands without mine or my mates consent?" Dads business voice was forced out.

Mr Nickolson cleared his throat a few times. "I was called in last minute to fill in for a teacher. I am a high school teacher." he slightly slurred, I could only imagine the pain in his swollen jaw of being forced to talk.

Dad nodded. "Why did you attack my daughter Mr Nickolson?"

Mr Nickolson's face twisted in pain. My eyes shot to moms face, she looked at the teacher viciously.

'Mom STOP!!' I screamed at her through the link. She knew I hated violence. She was using her powers to burn him.

One more look at the teacher and she looked down.

"Well?" Dad snapped.

Mr Nickolson panted and recovered himself. "I didn't mean to do it. My wolf took over, he just wanted his mate." he stressed.

"Didn't your paps teach you self-control mutt?" Royden laughed humourlessly.

Mr Nickolson ignored his comment.

"I apologise Alpha. I meant no harm. I didn't know there would be a pack here." the teacher bowed to my parents.

"What do you mean you didn't know?" Mom snapped.

"I-I live alone." the teacher stammered a thick european accent slipped through his teeth.

Mom growl was feral and lethal, even I could feel the power in it.

"I assure you Alpha I'm no rouge. I've permission to leave but am still a member of the pack." he said in a rush, his accent much more prominent now.

He was Irish?

That calmed my mom down some though her eyes still remained the all black colour.

"Calm down sweetheart." Dad murmured and placed a comforting hand on her forearm and turned to the teacher.

"That still doesn't give you the right to lay a hand on my daughter Mr Nickolson." Dad growled ferally, his wolf scraping to the surface.

"I'm sorry Alpha." his wolf whined.

"He isn't the one you should be saying sorry to!" Royden exploded on my side of the table.

Luci snarled. "Back off Royden!"

The teacher flinched and nodded his head in agreement, eyes closed. "Aye, he's right lass." He opened his eyes that were bruised a deep purple and slightly swollen. "On behalf of myself and me wolf, I am truly sorry. I hope that in the near future you could forgive us and our actions." his grey eyes burned guilt and a little desperation.

I looked at him straight in the eyes and gave him a small smile. "It was all a misunderstanding. You are forgiven Mr Nickolson."

He nodded and gave his version of a small smile before wincing. "Ronan."

"Huh?" I blurted.

"My name is Ronan."

I nodded.

"Excuse us kids, Tomas and I would like to have a little chat with Ronan." Mom stood from her seat.

Luci lowly growled but zipped her lips once it slipped passed them.

"Don't start Luci, I'm being extremely patient right now. You should be happy he's breathing." Mom snapped, Luci bowed her head.

Mom, dad and Ronan headed out to where I assume was the office upstairs. Once the door closed and they were gone Royden let us have it.

"Why!" he yelled at me. "Why did you forgive him!"

I frowned. "Shut up Roy, I do what I want." I sassed him.

Roydens hand twitched, his wolf was coming back. Royden could be so hot headed and irrational when he was upset or angry.

"What! Don't you see Mace! He hurt you! The bruis on your very chest proves that!" he shouted.

My hand subconsciously touched my chest. I had a bruis there for sure but I thought my shirt covered it.

"Watch it man." Morgan hissed and stood over Royden.

"And what are you! Following her around all the time? She's spoken for you moron! Do you have this kind of sick crush on her or something buddie?" Royden shoved at Morgans shoulder.

My eyes widened. "What the hell Royden!!" I shrieked at him and got between them. "Go cool off!!"

"Royden-" Luci started but was cut off by Royden.

"And YOU! How could you be with that idiot!" Royden threw his arms up in the air.

I was starting to get annoyed at this point. Taking a deep breath I told Luci to go cool off some and Morgan to go find Dean and Renata and check up on them though being the stubborn butt Morgan is he reluctantly left.

"What's going on Roy?" I glance up at him and that's were I could see the hurt in his eyes.

"Nothing." he snapped.

"Don't lie."

"I'm not lying okay! Nothing is going on, nothing, NOTHING!!!" he shouted at me, I flinched at his harsh tone.

"Don't yell at me Royden." I snapped.

"Well stop trying to act like everything's okay!" he punched the wall.

That did it. "DAMN!! I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU AND FIND OUT WHAT'S SETTING YOU OFF AND ALL YOU'VE DONE IS GET ALL DEFENSIVE! I'M SORRY FOR CARING, FOR BEING A FRIEND!" I exploded, my throat burned.

His face dropped. He knew I was right.

"Mace I'm-" he started.

"Just don't Royden. You've been negative for the last twenty four hours. I don't understand." My voice was low and angry. Tears stung my eyes.

"Oh Masy I'm so sorry!" he hushed and took me in his arms.

"Ugh. I'm so angry at you Royden!" I hit his chest.

He chuckled. "I know, I'm sorry Masy."

"Why? Why are you being a butt all of a sudden? Did I do something? Did Morgan? Mr Nickolson?"

He sighed heavily. "Masy if I tell you and you blab your mouth I will shave your head AND your eyebrows off." he playfully threatened.

"Just tell me!" I poked at his chest.

He took a deep breath. "I- I'm in love with Luci."

I pulled back from his chest and gaped up at him.

"Is this true?" Her voice lightly bounced around the intense atmosphere.

My head swung to the half opened door.

"Luci." I gasped.
