Chapter Four.

Masyn P.O.V

For the rest of the day we roamed and explored the town. It wasn't as bad as it seemed, it was more of a tourist attraction for it's native culture. Liam called around lunch time like he said. He was hanging out with his friends in the gym.

We decided to head back to the pack. I was demoted to the back seat due to Royden driving and Luci kicking me back here since she rode in the back this morning. It was about after two when we rolled up to the gates, they were closed. Two men appeared by the gates, most probably their warriors.

"Uh are we at the right place?" Luci asked.

I scooted forward so I was leaning into the gap of their seats.

One of them came to Roydens window, he rolled it down for the guy.

"State your business." The man said automatically.

"We're here with Alpha Lockwood." Royden replied in the same tone.

"Do you have a pass?"

"What?" we all said at once.

"You either need a pass or something to show that you have entrance to the territory." he folded his arms across his chest.

I rolled my window down. "Hi, uh we have permission from Richard, we're all with Alpha Lockwood." I said in a smooth voice.

I heard mom say the Alpha of this pack was named Richard last night.

"And who might you all be?" he raised an eyebrow.

"I'm Alpha Lockwoods daughter and these are my friends. We have permission from your Alpha and he knows that we are here with my dad."

"My apologies." he nodded to the other guy who pushed the gates open for us.

"Thanks." I smile at him.

"Asshole." Luci muttered before Royden launched forward up the driveway. I just shook my head at her.

Two boys and a girl about my age sat out on the step in front of the house, dad, Richard and a woman stood near them.

"Oh there is some talent here." Luci turned to me, wriggling her eyebrows. I laughed at her.

"You're bipolar." Royden rolled his eyes at her.

She pouted at him.

Royden stopped a few feet in front of them. Dad looked over while talking to the adults, they all followed dads gaze and all eyes were on us.

I hid back into the darkish cab while Luci and Royden openly stared back.

Dads lips were moving and he came towards the truck and opened my door. "Come." he held out his hand.

I hopped out, dad wrapped his arm around my shoulder and walked towards the group of people.

"This is my daughter Masyn, she'll look out for you guys at the pack." he voiced.

I almost gaped at him. What is he saying? He didn't even ask if I wanted to babysit these teenagers. What the? The girl glared daggers at me.

"She's human." the girl spat.

I heard a growl behind me and one louder one from dad. Luci glared holes into the girls face.

"She's also the Alphas daughter so watch your mouth!" she snarled down at the girl.

"It's okay Luci." I put my hand on her shoulder to calm her.

Dad smiled at Luci and continued. "This is Luci, she's a pack warrior in training so I'd listen to her if I were you. Last but not least this is Royden. They will look after you."
