I opened my eyes. And look at the ceiling of my room I take a deep breath and sit up I rub my face trying to wake up more today is the first day of school so I have to get ready I stand up and pick out some clothes I end up choosing a grey shirt of which I ruled the sleeves off a black tank top as an under shirt and a pair of shorts I quickly put everything on I do my make up and brush my teeth and hair I look at my self in the mirror and decide to put my hair up in a high ponytail. I run out my door and run in the mud getting to school
"Hey little wolf!" I stop and turn around to see my best friend Gracie I smile and she catches up
"Did your parents finally decided to let you walk out of the house?" I said sarcastically
"Haha very funny Lee." She hits my shoulder and I laugh "it's your fault I got caught"
"Is so not." I shake my head "you should have changed back sooner like the rest of us"
"It's simple for you guys" she gave me a glare
"Okay but it's not my fault your wolf stands out more with your black little snout" I pinched her nose and she rolled her eyes
"Quit" she hits my hand away and we walk in the school building
"Hey it's little wolf and smaller wolf" two of our friends walk over and swing their arm around or neck and lean down so we are some what the same hight
"We could kick your ass any day" Gracie shoots
"Sure you guys could" max says rolling his eyes
"With Lee becoming alpha. Yea" she pushes wills arm off her
"Oh yea when is your uh thing" Max said standing up straight again. He was talking about my pack upgrade as we say. I was one of the out casts of the pack. But for some reason the elders took notice of me and wanted me to be alpha the son of the current alpha was pissed he treated to fight me but is parents we excited for me apparently they hadn't had a female alpha since the split. The split was about 100 years ago our pack was bigger about 150 people but for some reason they split the big pack and the small pack us of course is the small pack and about to be smaller we have about 20 people but all of the parents and elders are going to leave and go up to main to help packs up their get along and leave us hear.
"I don't know. I think this Friday" today was Monday so I had the week to plan my get away
"And they are leaving? When" will added
"Next week maybe" Grasie said none of us were to happy about this. Sure we are all old enough to live alone but still our parents are leaving possible forever
"Well shall we go and talk to the rest" max opened the door to the cafeteria by the rest he means two other people their may be 20 people in the pack most being high schooler we still hated each other and stayed away from them
"Hey little wolf" Ann said the rest turned around to look at me
"You excited to be alpha?" Hunter said pushing max which max returned the push
"No" I said bluntly
"Come on it will be fun bossing around mark" mark was the son of the current alpha he wasn't as intimidating as Max Will and Hunter
Max had black hair almost black eyes and was 6'1 he was well built but every one in the pack was well bolt and tan
Will was 6'0 brown hair and had freckles and blue eyes
Hunter was 6'2 brown hair brown eyes and well every ones dream guy
And well me and Gracie weren't so intimidating I had blonde hair and green eyes I was tan but short 5'6
Gracie hair brown curly hair brown eyes and was 5'4 so we weren't much of a match to the rest of our pack
"If he doesn't challenge me" I rolled my eyes it was true if he challenged me I would lose I was nothing compared to him
"He won't trust me" Hunter said cracking his knuckles
"If he challenges me after I become alpha you guys can't help me" I said after a while we went to class we had all of our classes together luckily the day was boring but then we got to science
"Okay class today we will talk about animals and how and why they look like they do" I slouch down in my chair and hear behind me
"Now we finally get to know why marks wolf looks like it does" the voice sounded like Max Will laughed at his remark
"Would you like to share what you said Mr. Little" I could hear Max shift in his seat
"Umm no Mr. Dern" the teacher nodded
"Okay well most people think that God created everything. Well they are right to their religion. But scientists believe in evolution wolfs for example their eyes are placed so they can see prey and their ears are where they are so they can hear better" he walks around the room but I zone out we learned about why animals are the way they are with our pack we kinda needed to know
After a while we head to history and sit down
"Class! Hello!" Our teacher was a bit weird "Matt what are three of the creatures people were afraid of that movies have made less scary?" He pointed to Matt
"Vampires where wolfs and witches" Matt replied with out a thought
"Correct" he walked over to me
"Lee were wolfs go!" He pointed at me I smiled knowing I got this

"Nice job" he walked over to Max "vampires go!"
"Uhhh vampires. Drink humans blood scary as hell and original from Germany in the late 17th and 18th century. Decapitation fire and a wood steak" he and the teacher high fives
"And we all know what a witch is so no need to test about it" he sits down at his desk
