I opened the door to a beautiful empty room. Because no one was there yet. Which was weird because school ended a half an hour ago. Was the whole extras thing a lie? I was about to sit down when I saw a flying ninja. Usually ninjas soaring through the sky are normal because they are on rooftops. However, they don't usually slam against concrete walls. As the dust settled, I saw a girl about my age, and she looked really pissed.
" What do you mean that I can't be paired with anyone in my class!" She yelled, full of rage. " S-Sorry, I d-don't make the rules." The poor teacher stuttered. She calmed down a bit, but she was still not in a happy mood. " All my friends were in that class..." She then realized that I actually existed and turned to look at me.
I helped the teacher up and he kinda limped away like a wounded animal. I wanted to help him to the hospital but he said he was fine. So, I stood their awkwardly trying to come up with a good conversation topic that wouldn't send me hurtling into any concrete walls.
However, she was the one who broke the silence. "So, who are you?" She didn't seem as angry as before, which calmed me down a bit.
"I'm Nikorasu Takahashi, I'm guessing your one of the extras from the classes?"
She sighed. " Yeah, it sucks. Everyone got to see their teachers before me. Oh, I'm Nami by the way, Nami Hokori."
She seemed alright, as long as I didn't do anything to make her mad. We waited in the room for about twenty more minutes until another girl opened the door. She must have entered the wrong room, since a normal squad consisted of two boys and one girl.
"Hey, this is the room for the extras. Are you an extra?" I asked her, in a calm tone.
"Well, yeah I am. Are you?" She asked me.
I was getting a bit irritated. " I just told you that this is the room for extras, why wouldn't I be an extra?"
"Well, you don't really look like ninja material." She replied.
Honestly, she hit the nail on the head. Since I was extremely skinny, many people told me the same thing. That didn't mean that I liked when people told me that.
I motioned to my headband. " Since I have this, it means that I am a leaf genin, so it doesn't matter what you think!"
She shrugged."Whatever, my name is Arekushisu Uzumaki. I didn't mean to insult you, honestly."
I was about to ask her if she was related to Naruto, when another teacher entered.
"Are you are sensei?" I asked excitedly.
"No, I went into the wrong room. Sorry about that." He then closed the door again.
So we sat in silence for another hour until another teacher entered the room.
"Are you our sensei?" We all asked in despair.
"Yep."
