Chapter 16: Fire Burns To The Touch

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" Loral screamed in pure furry as she paced back and forth in front of Hades. 

"You took me from those I loved, brought me here. Killed me! And when I had the chance to be happy again after what you did to me physically you tare me away once again!" she started to speak more to herself.

"I was happy with Zeus...he made me, happy". 

"NO!" Hades spoke harshly, but Loral did not flinch,  she was not scared of the man that once gave her nightmares. 

"I do not care about your happiness as much as I mainly care of you just being here. Zeus made you happy but you make me happy Loral" Hades whispered. 

"You can't do this!!!" she screamed as she took a step closer. 

"I CAN DO WHAT I PLEASE!"

"How can you not care about my happiness when you are said to be my mate?"

"I do not need to explain myself but know here and now you will never be leaving me again. You are my mate whether you like it or not, and if you want to prevent a war of the gods you will stay" Hades spat venomously at her.

He side stepped her, and walk out of his thrown room, leaving Loral crumpled on the stone cold floor crying. 

He can't do this! He can't...he can't...he can't

A war of the gods...I can't stay but...but I can't leave...

I'm trapped here...forever. 

Eternally separated from the people I love...from the man I love.

I-I loved him...I didn't even get to tell him, but I know he felt the same. I could see it in his eyes, in the way he treated me.

But I will never get to tel him that, never.

I stood there, looking down on my beautiful Loral, wishing I could embrace her in my arms. 

He has taken her once again and I cannot do anything about it. The well-being of all man kind h-has to come first, even if it kills me, which it is.

Slowly I feel like I'm dissipating, I feel as if my very existence is withering away without her. 

I love her, but...it's not enough to save her. She's perpetually in his vice grip, his winding web and she will never get out. 

She's gone forever...

"Well well well brother, it seems as if you have lost" A voice coolly declared behind me. 

Sighing heavily Zeus slowly turned around to face his adversary. 

"Yes hellion...you have won" Hades leered as Zeus spoke.

"You've won the battle, but the war is just beginning" Zeus brawled with authority. 

Hades paled "I have the girl, it's over Zeus!".

"Loral is only part of all this Satan" Zeus gestured with his arms as he looked around. 

"She may be your mate but that does not give you the right to damage her. You know not the meaning of love, therefore you cannot give her true happiness. Love does not come with being ones mate, it is earned, and that is what I have done" 

"It matters not, she is mine and she cannot leave the underworld ever, she will die otherwise" Hades sneered with hate. 

"Casting a spell over her can only restrict her physically, I will always have her heart brother"

"Stop!" Hades shouted 

"And whenever you go to her, and seek her affection she will spit on you and disdain the ground you walk on" Zeus taunted as he slowly walked closer to his brother.

"ENOUGH!" Hades screamed

"She will NEVER be yours for as long as you keep her locked up in hell she will forever despise you with every molecule in her being"

"SILENCE YOU BASTARD" Hades screamed in agony as he crumpled to the floor in pain. 

"I HAVE HER HEART, SOUL, AND SPIRIT. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE HER FOR AS LONG AS WE LOVE EACH OTHER!" Zeus roared as pure power emitted from his voice. 

Behind him claps of blue electric thunder struck the ground with pure aptitude. Rain started to pour as Zeus towered over Hades body. Fire brawled out from the ground and opened up, swallowing Hades whole and yielded him back to hell as Zeus struck the ground beneath him with raw electricity.

"And back to hell you go...BROTHER" He spat with such venom the sky rumbled and a full on thunder storm commenced.
