Chapter 18: Fighting For Survival

"Where is she sir?" Athos asked Zeus as he came storming into the thrown room.

"Not here" he said blankly.

"But sir, why? where?" Athos questioned his master. "She's with him, she's his mate. I have no claim on her"

"Oh master, but everybody thought..."

"It doesn't matter what everybody thought, they were wrong." Zeus spat

"What about war sir, everybody is talking about war between the gods is it true?" Athos inquired.

Zeus sighed heavily "no Athos, not today and probably not for a while. he has not provoked a war...yet."

"So what now?"

"We wait, we wait until he does something worthy of war."

Zeus new his brother would slip, he would fall and he would be there, not to pick him but to cut him down from his ever ending thrown of helpless souls.

He would be there to drag him from his pedestal himself and take back what him and Poseidon shameless did to their brother. Tricked him, deceived him, banished him to hell.

What a foolish mistake, thoughtlessly giving the power of the dead to a man brought up in anger. Sure, all of us had a barbaric father, Titan was merciless and sadistic, but Hades has put a whole new meaning on the word. Devouring your children for power is bad, but condemning every living soul to an eternity of hell is worse. It may not seem like it, but think about it.

Life as we know it will diminish and everything, and person will be wiped from the earth.

'How stupid are we?' laughed Zeus bitterly.

And now, not only has the power of life and death in his hands, but the life of Loral as well. By the word of the gods she will be mine when forever is up. Her life has just begun and so has an eternity of war. Hell shall be unleashed only for a time.

Hades will no longer stand on high when this is up, he shall be plunged into never ending suffering as did my people by his hand.

I swear on my own immortal life, Loral and every soul shall be free. If only forever could come sooner.

Holy monkey balls! Update in like years! Jk but it's been a WHILE O_O Don't hate me...please!;( school as kicked me in da booty but is all good now! ;)

But I need some help, I'm having conflict on whether to start an Epilogue to the story or continue with a few more chapters.

Give me some feed back or I won't know and just end the book. I need to know!:)
