Chapter 7: In Vein

Chapter 7:  In Vein

"Love, love...open your eyes" said a voice none to farmiliar. It was distant but I felt a strang pull towards it. It called to me again, this time I slowly opened my eyes and was met with dark worried looking ones.

"You took quite a fall baby, are you alright?" I sat upright once I realized just who was talking to me and quickly tried to back away. Sprinting up and onto my feet I frantiqly looked for an exit, but before i could even take a step, I was roughly pulled back to a hard chest and kept there. I froze, not really knowing what to do in this sittuation so I just stayed still. 

I was stiff but soon started to relax as he skimmed the tip of his nose along my neck and up to my jaw line. He began to nibble on my ear "Where do you think your going..mmmm?".

"U-umm I-I...n-no wh-ere?" I said more like a question. Damn him for being so distracting. All I could think about was his hands on my body and the way I was being betrayed by it. 

It felt so good and so wrong at the same time. My brain was telling me danger, get away, when my body was all to caught up in the heat of the moment. 

"Little one, you do realize that your not getting out. Your here forever..." He said as he carried me bridal style to a large dark blue and gold chair. He sat down with me in his lap and oddly i was quite comfortable. 

He started to nuzzle my hair, breathing in my scent he licked up my law line, all the while leaving hot kisses in it's wake. My body instantly reacted and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Turning in his lap I came face to face with a god, literally. 

Only until now was i able to really take in his features and boy was he beautiful. 

Black midnight hair hung lowly in hs eyes yet spiked at the top. Burning coal eyes stared back at me, I instantly felt mmy lips run dry and flicked out my tongue to moist them. That little action had his dark eyes turning a fierce gold color. They almost reminded me of burning embers. It was a frighteneing sight and yet drew me more to him. 

Slowly going down across his face I noticed he had a straight perfect nose, a chizzled jaw line and perfect moist lips, they looked so kissable. I was so tempted to just push out and kiss him, the feeling was powerful but I had to control myself or I might do something i'll regret later.

"Why do you have to control yourself?" he  questioned "Why can't you just let go of all restraints and give into your inner beast?" 

"U-mm, I-I...I just can't..No I won't. Because i know i'll regret it." I said sternly.

"You don't believe that, do you love?" he asked while looking me dead in the eye as he gently kissed the skin above my breast. 

I couldn't answer, I was caught in his glowing embers as he just stayed there. Captured in a swirl of emotions my breath started coming out in pants and his fingers slowly traced the material of my dress  where it ties in the back. One by one he gently loosened the lace that tied the ends of my dress together, realizing what he was doing i was swiftly broken from his trance and started to break free. 

He didn't seem to happy as he gripped my waist and kept me in place with ease. "Never try and get away from me, if so, you will be punished. Understand?" He whispered with a deadly tone to his voice. I nodded and he smirked slightly. 

"Now, Have you any questions for me?" he asked and he moved me slightly to his other knee. I started to think if I had any and only one came to mind.

"Yes, actually I do" I said calmly as I moved from his lap to stand in front of him. "Where the HELL did you go?!?! I was freakin left out in the middle of a dead forest...ALONE! And on top of that I had to go through hell, literally by myself...I met people, I sw things I wish I hadn't, I almost died in a dark hall trying to find you and what the heck was with that blue light?!" I babbled on unable to stop until he came and hushed me to silence.

"Everything you went through was necessary, you only went through a few realsm of my kingdom. What you saw is what i wanted you to see, you will be living here for ever and I want you to become accustome to this place. 

And as for the blue light and people you met, first the people you met are going to be only some of your personal servents, and the blue lghts was death. It comes whenever it feels someone needs to die and take there soul. What it was doing near you, you will find out soon." this caused me to become much less panic...until I remmembered Toress and Claudia. 

"Oh my gosh, what happened to Claudia, where's Toress? Are they alright?!" I asked in a frenzy.

"Hush love, their fine and getting your room ready, well only Toress. Claudia is in our nursery." He said simply.

I blew ou a relieved breath, my shoulders slumped and I hit the ground with an 'oumf'. Hades just looked down at me questioningly and quiet amused to why I just sat on the floor. I shrugged my shoulders because honestly I dont know why I did.

"Wait, you said I would find ou what the blue light was...What is it?" As i came back from the floor, I asked. He grinned evilly and started walking to the double oak doors. 

he gestured with his arm for me to follow and said "I'll show you, but you might not like it". I slowly nodded my head and quietly followed him out the doors. I suddenly got the feeling that I really wasn't going to like this and wished I stayed back in the throne room.
