Days have been flying by like nothing. It's Spring, the snow if mostly gone, we have more activities to do, and just so forth. Because you may know, we are year rounders, we stay, and people like Percy, maybe Annabeth, and a whole bunch of others kids possibly, will come during their breaks since Chiron had convinced Mr.D so we wouldn't all be unprepared, such as battling and so on. Anyways, what I'm saying is that some will come during weekends, some during things like Winter Break. Spring break. And Tobias had convinced Percy to come and get us the pegasi we need during Spring Break, which kinda messed up our planning, but we need them.
"I miss the cold..." I groaned as I wiped beads of sweat from my forehead and fixed my chest plate armor. I was training with Tobias. Though you may think, but it's Spring!!! Time to skip and sing about how beautiful thinks are! But the thing is. Though as much as I love the sun, I hate being HOT. It's hard enough when my body radiates heat.
"Quit complaining, start singing. Isn't that how you work through being hot?" He asked.
I face-palmed, "Why didn't I remember that?"
"Cause you've been to stressed? Besides, I could use some singing to help. It's kinda lonely here..." He sighed.
This was definitely not him. I had to fix that... "Alright, but, well yeah. We are the only ones here besides Mrs.O'Leary." As if on cue, the giant friendly hellhound appeared out of nowhere and bounded toward us. Tobias ran at her and they tackled, playing hitting and play biting. Well, Mrs.O'Leary play bitted. Tobias knew better than to bite a hellhound. Plus, that's just weird...
"Hey Mrs.O'Leary! How are ya doing?" I said putting my sword in its sheath, which was on my back. She barked loudly in reply, making the arena shake. I laughed at Tobias as soon as he stood up. He was cover in slobber, hellhound hair, and his hair was sticking up in many ways. He looked at me confused. "What?" I fell over still laughing. Mrs. O'Leary must have found a new play mate because she bounded away. I heard the familiar laugh of Asha. Looking upside down -I was still laying down- I saw her. Along was Nico, Dakota, and Leo.
"What are you guys doing?" Dakota asked avoiding the giant hellhound. "Training," I said standing up and brushing myself off. "And Tobias needs a shower."
"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" He yelled and ripped off his armor, then his shirt and took off to the lake. "Dude! I don't think that lake is safe to swim in!!!" I called after him, taking off my own armor. His maniac laugh in the distance was all that was in reply.
"What time is it?" Leo asked smirking.
"SWIMMING TIME!!!!" Everyone but me and Nico yelled. We face-palmed. "No way am I going to go in a death trap..." I mumbled. "Oh come on Astrid. It'll be fun!" Asha coaxed. I shook my head. "I'm not swimming either..." Nico grumbled. Soon, the two of us were being pushed to the cabins by the three.
Next thing I knew, I was looking in the mirror , standing beside Nico, looking at my reflection. I was wearing a bathing suit. And Nico was in his swim trunks. The only thing was, instead of groaning, I laughed. "What?" Nico grumbled. "You're so pale." I giggled. He rolled his eyes.
