Under the Moonlight

Chapter 35

This is the day. Maybe the last days of your happiness or the last day of all the worry and fear.
I opened my eyes and saw Taylor wasn't in the bed. He was dressing up. "Are you leaving?" I asked him quietly talking. He turned around and looked at me. He smiled.
"Yeah. Your parents can caught me and I need to be alive for tonight" he said laughing. I chuckled.
"I am going to school first and then I'll come there" I said as I took my shirt from the bed and dressed it up. I stood up and after I gave him a kiss he left.
I took a shower and got ready for school. I went downstairs for breakfast. Everyone were on the table. I joined them.
This breakfast was normal for everyone but me and Nate. We were both serious and not good. We knew what was excepting us that night.

It was time to go to school. We stood up and I couldn't not to hug everyone.
"I'll be at Maria's after school. Maybe I'll sleep at her place too" I said to my parents before leaving. They let me stay there like every other time.

Nate and I both got in his car and went to school. The whole ride was quiet.
We arrived at the school parking and didn't get out of the car immediately.
"Are you ok?" he asked me and looked at me.

"Just scared." I said seriously. "Are you?" I asked looking at him.
"I am trying to be calm as much as I can" he said and smiled. I just smiled back and we both got out of the car. We saw Jackson, Chuck and Maria were waiting for us on the stairs. We went toward them. Nate got closer to Maria and gave her a short kiss on the lips.
"Ready for school?" Nate asked all of us and he was smiled.
"Yup" Maria said happily and the rest of us just nodded.

After the first period we all went and ate something in the school cafeteria. We all tried to act like normal high school students. We were talking about some usual stuff and were were messing and laughing, but at the end we all knew what was excepting us that night. We were all crying from inside.
"If there is happy tomorrow for us, I'll promise I'll start studying" Jackson said in one moment and we laughed.
"I'll do that too" Chuck said, laughing.
"I'll stay the same" Nate said and Maria rolled her eyes.

"I'll stay the same too" Maria said and looked at Nate.
Then they all looked at me. It was my turn to say something. I just chuckled and looked down.

"I'll spend night in the woods playing with all animals in it" I said and they all laughed.
"It's not funny" I said.

Then I though what I would really do if everything ends good.
I'll hug Taylor and be with him every second in the day. I just want to be next to him. Nothing else matters.

After the classes finished me and Maria got outside toward the stairs in the garden. We say Taylor was waiting us in front of the school with him car. I smiled to him and we went toward him.
"Hello" I said happily and hugged him.
"And you were together just 6 hours ago" Maria said to us when she saw us hugging like we didn't see each other for weeks.

"How did you know?" I asked confused.
"Because she was in Nate's room all night" Taylor said and I raised my eyebrows. I wasn't surprised though.
"I heard my name" I suddenly heard Nate's voice and I turned around to see him, Jackson and Chuck coming toward us.
"Nothing special" Maria said and smiled. I just rolled my eyes.
We all went at the woods house where Jess and her pack were waiting for us. We joined them in the hall. We were just sitting there and talking when suddenly Taylor decided to speak. Jess was next to him.
"When I became a werewolf and later an alpha I never thought I'd have so many friends." he started talking. "people that supports me and are always there for me." He added. "I'll always be thankful for that, but tonight all of you first save yourself. Your own life is more important then anything else. Be careful" he said and finished with the talking.
Taylor came closer to me. I was standing next to Maria and Nate. He smiled at me.
