"Wow, what fierce warriors."

Chapter: William

"I proudly stand by my word." The man before grabbed the hilt of the sword.

"I proudly stand by my word." repeating him.

The wind stirred around us, and in the forest I felt tension rise in the warriors. "They trust their leader, but they do not trust the situation. Smart thinking and I don't blame them one little bit." I smile over at the man before me and dismiss my sword.

"Your word is to be trusted as is mine. If either of our words proved to be false or even the slightest not true the sword would have pierced us through our heart." I extend my hand towards him "Nice to meet you my name is William Satoshi, and this little one is Liz Satoshi. I'm sorry for the intrusion but I am as lost as you are on why we are." gesturing to my side.

He still had hard eyes focused on me when he took my hand. He had a strong grip and the crossbow on his back was magnificent craftsmanship if I have ever seen any.

"I go by Prince, and not royalty be sure to remember that." he growled and hollered out "Everyone come out! This man is not our enemy for the time being!"

The warriors slowly began to come out of the shadows of the trees. Cautiously as if their next move could be their last. One still remained in the forest a moment longer than the rest but he soon came out. It was the one with the tremendous amount of fear and hatred. He had calmed considerably and his fear was about the same level of his men. "That's a relief I guess. He was the one I was most worried about."

"I'll be sure not to forget. Now how about something to drink and a nice fire to talk around." I ask politely to everyone.

"Not to be rude but it would take far too long to assemble that and we don't have any water to spare." the man called Prince stated in a rough blunt tone.

"Not to worry it's no problem for me." and then I set out to work.

I began to make a smooth basin out of stone from the earth filled it with fresh clear water. Then making mugs of decent size that could hold water and keep it cool from the weather. Next was the fire, and it was the easiest part. In the center of the clearing I made a circular indention in the ground with a pit in the middle for the fire. Wood planks were woven together with my Nature Magik and were set ablaze with Fire Magik. A circular bench made of good oak was woven around the circular fire pit and had a nice finish. As I admired my handiwork I noticed that the warriors had a mix of awe and renewed fear on their face. "Maybe that was too much at once for them?"

"Papa I'm starting to get hungry." Liz said with a pained look on her face.

"Hmm how about some herb baked bread then?" I ask.

"That's sounds good." she said with a smile.

I grow herbs from the ground that are good for cooking and mill them quickly. I produce flour as well from the ground and mill it as well. The freshest of grain you can get began baking the bread. I skipped all other necessary steps because I didn't think we had time. After the baking process finished in my hands, it was finished. The smell of the fresh bread wafted throughout the clearing and I gave a piece to Liz and a cup of water. I look over at Prince and extend out a piece and a cup of water out to him.

"See it didn't take that long, and now we even have some food. So what do you say? Want to trade some stories for a bit?" I ask with a smile.

Chapter: Prince

I sure everyone in my patrol were beside themselves and astounded, maybe even fearful that God or Satan himself was before them. I'm sure he's not one of those things. I wasn't moved in the slightest, it's not like I have seen this multiple times and seeing how the loner- William- held himself I was not the least bit surprised. This was still a serious situation to me.

I began to settle myself but did not come forward because I could see all of my warriors looking at each other confused and then slight disapproval before finally they laid eyes on me. My brother came through the group, walking past everything right to my ear, he hissed quietly as he eyed William. "I don't like this."

I didn't say a word, only turned so my glare went right into his icy blue gaze. I did not have to say anything, he knew what I was doing and that was final. I know he can read me like an open book.

"Come on, men." I state turning away before going to take a seat, "It's not like he's God himself. Close your mouth you're going to catch flies." I glared at Beaver and he closed it with wide eyes.

"The food smells really good," He mumbled with Hawk beside him who looked himself again but a little on edge while panting softly.

I took the food and water from William, looking like I gave no shits to the show. "I may give few stories, loner. And don't let the smoke get anywhere, you're going to attract others."

Snake was glaring from the crowd, he was the last one with his weapon out even though it was just his dagger. I made sure to give him a hard look for it, then our 'argument' ended when he put it away behind his trench coat.

The recruits may not know but most people do, I have dealt with situations like this. Situations that are beyond our forest and knowledge. They should be able to trust me enough here, I'm all they've got. Although I would be grateful if William let them back down from the offer. I just want to know why he is here when even he doesn't know. Perhaps I can help with that.

Although I have to admit, when I looked back at my troop they were still all standing confused and unsure, they looked like a ghastly herd of deer. This irritated me slightly, I didn't care if they were unsure they shouldn't be pondering like little frightened girls. Seriously, they need to stop giving that wide eyed look which most of them had on William or me. "Wow, what fierce warriors." I groaned with a hard glare on them all.
