Chapter: Liz

We had finally arrived at the Forrest Realm's hidden area.  It was quite beautiful, houses were in the trees and on the ground.  I looked around with the teddybear still in my arms.  There was nothing like this in our world, with concrete buildings and bad smells everywhere.  When we broke the forest perimeter we came into a huge clearing and towards the back of the clearing stood a house, in the middle of a splitting oak tree.  The tree showed great age and the house showed great craftmanship; it was stunning.

Prince steered the carriage to the entrance of the house with Griffon and a couple other shadows standing in front.  The carriage came to a halt with the Maidens inside still giggling slightly.  What did they do to my papa that would make him yell like that?  The only other females who could do that would be Kharin, Michelle and Brittany.  Even then it was difficult.  I jump off the seat and run over to the door, and watch as Prince opened up the door.  His eyes seemed to have a glimmer of concern of what exactly happened inside the carriage.

River stepped out of the carriage first with a smile and rosy cheeks, followed by Ash with a similar look, and then Leafy exiting the carriage with a high and mighty look on her face.  When I look in the carriage along with Prince we find my papa passed out on the floorboard.

"What the hell did you do to him?!" Prince exclaimed.

"We didn't do anything. I just showed the others how to protect themselves."  Leafy said with a straight face, "Your father will be just fine little Liz. He'll just be unconscious for a few minutes."

"I know I am supposed to protect you from other people but I'm beginning to believe I need to protect other's from you." Prince said with a sigh.

"Then maybe you should keep your distance." She said curtly and turned away walking.

"Ouch," Griffon said with a smile while Prince was in shock.

I climb into the carriage and kneel next to my papa.  Golden Eagle walked in as well and leaned over my papa.  Papa woke up gasping and looked straight into Golden Eagles eyes.

"Well good morning handso..." He didn't finish his sentence as a gust of wind blew him straight out of the carriage.  Prince leaned in and said grunt, "Good to see you're awake."

"If you ever do that to me again so help me your god I throw you to Kingdom Come understand." My papa said with a very dark look and glare.

"Yea yea whatever." Prince waved him off.

"So what are you going to do now?"  Griffon came up and asked, "I can't grant you the same privilege in staying in my house."

"Fine. By. Me." My papa said, "In any case would it be alright if I made a house nearby?"

"What do you mean build a house?  That takes month's to accomplish." Griffon said bluntly.

"If you'll let me I'll gladly show you what I mean." He said with a small smile which was kind of scary especially after everything that happened.

Chapter: William

We walked over to an area that wasn't really near any of the other houses.  I studied the area and it was a good area as any to build a house and I know exactly what blueprint and design I want for my house.  I wont be able to have the technology like I do back home but at least it will feel a little bit like home.

"Well here's your clearing now let us see what kind of 'house' you can make." Griffon said with a doubtful look, and Prince himself was doubtful.

"You guys really are skeptical you know that?" I sigh and position myself taking two deep breaths.

Shadows that had traveled along stood nearby along with the three Maidens in attendance as well.  They were are curious of what I could really do and this was nothing maybe I'll give them a real performance tonight.  I pictured our house in my mind, seeing every little detail of the furniture, dimensions of the house and the shapes of the room and of course the plumbing.  That I made sure I had, I want a shower really really badly right now.  Then I shot out my power into the area.  Tree's moved, wood and metal bent and sawed in all different ways.  Everything moved fast going exactly where it needed to exactly as it was in my mind.  Everyone looked in awe as my house built right before them.

It would take a whole year to build this house with their techniques they use here so it isn't all the surprising they would be in shock.  Prince still held his unchanging face but it was clear he was impressed.  When I put the last detail of paint on the house I formed a key from the metal in the ground.  It was the key to the actual house so that way it would really feel like home.  Then the withdrawal hit me, and it hit me hard, but I stood my ground not showing anything.  They don't need to worry about me, I don't need to be fawned over.  It was then I had a flashback:

"Why do you always put on a face?" Kharin asked.

"What do you mean face? I'm perfectly fine," I say with a grunt.

"No you're not.  You used far to much magik to be alright.  You don't need to push yourself so hard that you kill yourself." She stated with a stern look,"If you keep this up then you'll end up using your essence.  You need to rely on others and that is to much then rely on me.  I'll always be there for you no matter what."

"Are you sure you'll always be there, Kharin?  Will you be there for me when I need you most?" I ask dead serious.

"Of course I will that's a promise I intend to keep." She said a warm smile and then she kissed me.

It took me by surprise but it sealed the fact that she was the one I truly loved.

"Why aren't you here now?  Right when I need you so much."  I think to myself as I look at the house.  Not noticing a tear falling down my cheek, but both Prince and Liz noticed along with Griffon.

"Well I'm sure you're tired after that little demonstration." Griffon said clapping his hands together startling me, "Get some rest tonight William and it looks good by the way.  Prince you're more than welcome to sleep with the other Shadows if you'd like."

"No I need to keep an eye on William here, but thanks for the offer." I was going to object but he gave me a stern look and I shut up. "My men will follow your men for now Griffon."

"Very well now come Maidens you need to rest." He said guiding them away.

"One moment Griffon." I say before he got too far.

"What is it William?" He asks with a concerned look.

"Would it be alright if I performed my Elemental Dance tonight?"
