Chapter: Liz

My papa went over to some of the other soldiers who weary of his presence but beckoned one over with a calm expression. He examined the wound on the man's arm and said it would be alright. He summoned some water and began cleansing the wound all the while weaving bandages together. I still had the teddybear in my arms and I realized now that someone else needed it. Prince was still upset over his loss...... I know I would be as well. I walked over to where he was now sitting with the man named Griffon. He acknowledged my presence and let get closer. The look in Prince's eyes were devastating and full of mourning. Earlier no one had had an answer for him but maybe I could give him one to give him some peace of mind.

"Snake saved me. I don't know where he went but he saved me before my papa arrived. So I do think he is alive." I say softly

"That's a relief I guess." he says like he's not really there.

I walk up to him and hand him the teddybear "Here maybe this will help I don't like seeing grown men cry either."

After that he grabbed me in his arms and held me close. It took me by surprise but I was happy that I could help. I don't know if he cried or not but It felt like it made him feel better. I guess I can do something right.

Chapter: William

I guess it's a good thing Liz is here. I know I wouldn't have been able to comfort Prince after all this. I know the feeling all to well but it is not a time to share that not when I could be doing other things. The man named Griffon walks over to me and I acknowledge him as a bandage a man's ankle.

"Now this is going to hurt so bite the hilt of your blade." I say getting ready to pop it back into socket.

He nodded his head and bit on the hilt. I twisted and it made a loud pop. He screamed only a little but other than that it was ok. With the water on the bandage I froze it a bit and gave him some herbal tea.

"Drink this you'll heal in no time." I say watching him walk away.

"So about the Maidens...." Griffon begins
"I'll get to it when I can, Griffon." I look at him and say "Now sit down and let me clean that shoulder."

"Uhh yes of course.." he grunts as he sits "What are you exactly?"

I sigh I've already done this once today "I'm a Fallen Angel, 1/3 human, 1/3 Angel, and 1/3 Demon. I don't know how I got here, and all I know is that this is not my world. Ain't much more I can tell you."

"I see." he coughs again "I really hope you can do something about that ice because one of the Maidens is my daughter. Surely you understand with your own over there?" he nods over to Liz and Prince.

"I do understand but keep in mind that the ice is impenetrable and they are perfectly safe from any attack in that barricade. I was merely protecting them. But if that is the case then so be it. Lets us go see to the Maidens." I rise and wipe my hands.

He looks at his shoulder and amazed to find it fully healed and bandaged. If all I'm good for is being a patch officer, then I'm not even worth of being a Fallen Angel.

"Liz!" I call over to her and got her attention "Be a good girl and watch over Prince for me I need to look at that arm of his when I get back." and she nods as I launch back toward the fire pit.
