I was escaping "The Land of Boredom" through reading a novel by Sparks when I remembered Margaux's favor. I went outside my room to find somebody and I saw dad. He was sleeping onthe couch with a remote on his big tummy. This is what my mom hated most of my dad's habit -- sleeping in the couch with letting our television on.
I pinched his skin but he was still busy sleeping, or maybe dreaming of Ferrero Rochers. What I did to wake him up, I tried to remove out of his hand the remote and guess what, it works.
"Hey, don't you dare steal this to me," he managed to say and sat in the couch. Okay, here's go the childish part of dad.
"I have a question," sitting beside him.
"What is it?"
"Do you have a friend or someone you know that aborted their child?"
The moment I asked that his sleepyhead face turns into strange one.
He faced me in a serious matter. "Why?"
"I'm helping a friend?"
"Oh? Do you have a friend now? Who?"
"Sorry, can't tell you. So do you know somebody here?"
"No," shaking his head then he walked away, leaving me with this action movie, Parker.
Now what? Whom I gonna ask? Maybe when I get back to school on January, I'll ask some of my friends. Oh waitm friends? Do I have that in school? Dad's right, I don't have any friend. Yes, I have some good classmates around me but I'm not that type of person who sticks too much with strangers.
But for Margaux, starting January, I will update my social status.
