“Dad, I''m home.”

“Join us Drake,” my mother sweetly offered to me in the dining table. Seeing my family like this, a happy one, is so much enough gift from God. I no longer have to wish for.

As soon as my mother finished elaborating about her rude assistant in hardware store, she changed the topic by asking me if how' was life at school.

“It's okay mom,” I said, drinking my water.

“Nothing happened bad?,” she asked straightly. Her eyes are looking into mine, waiting for an answer. If I would say “yes”, she would go to school and talked to the teachers if they could suspend Henry. Mom knows Henry.

“Nothing mom,” my mom was my number one fan.

“Okay,” she said, drawing a smile on her face.

It was a nice weather to sleep and drool your body on the soft bed but for me it was different. All night long, closing my eyes was all I did. It was like someone or something was bothering me.

I was clueless. What could it be? Or who could it be? So I went out of my room and headed into the kitchen. My stomach was empty and I think food can satisfy me. I took out a triangle-shaped cookie with my personalized name decorated on it. It was probably my cousin’s masterpiece. Her name was Jade and she likes to bake different kinds of cookie.

Mmm. This one's good.

After I finished swallowing my cousin's cookie, I walked towards our newly painted door. It was painted three days ago because of the vandals made by my younger cousins. I stepped outside on it and the cold weather touched my cells, not my skin. It was a good thing I wore my blue hoodie. I brushed my hair through my frozen hands and began to rotate my head ninety degrees to a girl standing one house away from me.

I wondered who could it be.

The girl was very attractive even she was under this starry starry night. I mean if you would look at her, she could be the next Miss Universe. She was wearing a rainbow hanging blouse and a short maong skirt. Her hair was on mess and I think she's not wearing any slippers. She was standing outside Thia's house, my childhood friend ever since, and keeps looking repeatedly to her body. She would look to her right arm then to her left, touched her legs, feet and toes. She also touched her face and her messy hair.

This one's really weird. Even weirder than me.
