"The man ran because . . . because he suddenly felt guilty."
"Really?"
"Yes. He almost cried in front of me."
"Wow. That man was rare."
"Yeah. I know." She looked away while I came near to her.
"Margaux, look at me," and she did.
"Have I done something wrong to you?," and she gave me a "no" answer by shaking her head.
"Then why are you --"
"Drake, not now. I'm tired. I'm really am," then a tear fell on her right eye.
"How can I help you if you're keeping secretes from me?"
"If you don't like my rule then don't help me. I can find my mother ALONE!." Margaux was angry this time and she was about to walk away from me when I remembered what the old woman said to me yesterday.
" . . . and the next time you will be together, keep her and don't let her go."
I ran to catch her and hug her from the back. "Please stay. I'm sorry. I just can't afford to lose you again. Sorry if I have many questions. Sorry if I always --," I haven't finished my statement because Margaux shut my lips with her lips.
I was left dumbfounded when she remove slowly her lips from mine. She immediately turn away from and me and you can tell that she was ashamed now.
"Hey. What was that for?," I asked and I leaned her face up.
"Are you inlove with me?" This time I have the courage to ask this to her but she didn't make any gestures or response.
"Well, if you do, don't worry . . . ," I said.
She stared at my eyes that made my arm slid down, wrapped around her waist and hauled her the last few inches between us, pressing my body against hers, " . . . because I feel the same way too," and I kissed her.
She was my first kiss and I'm hoping I'm her first too. I don't know if I'm doing this right. I press my mouth into hers, soft and gentle, all at once. I forgot the coldness of the weather because of the warm feeling that she put thgroughout my body, and this crazy little thing of desire I had never known with anyone else.
After some seconds, we came up breathless and wanting more, wishing we were in bed.
