Okay, my secret pal was Jade, my six-year old cousin and turning seven after Christmas so I should buy her two gifts but Margaux suggest that I should, instead, buy only one gift since I don't have a budget.
Yes, Margaux was here with me. I saw her earlier outside my house and I get the opportunity to be with her. So you're wondering, where are we right now -- we're in a fastfood restaurant. We argue earlier because she wants to treat me this time because as she said, I was always the one who was treating her.
"Please Drake, you're the one who was always treating me."
"But, it's always the guy--"
"Pleaaaaaaaaseeeeeeeee?," and she gave me her cutest puppy little eyes.
"Okay. Okay."
"Thanks."
We're in the line to order a breakfast when a guy suddenly go first against us then Margaux looked at me with such disappointment.
'Hey." I tapped the shoulder of the guy infront of me.
"What?," the guy said in a very muscular tone and indeed, he was muscular. He has bigger muscles than me.
"Why did you do that?"
"The what?," as if he was pretending.
"Can't you see we'rein line here and you just go first toward us?"
"So? What is the problem with that? Don't you know me?"
"I don't care who you are, we're all hungry here men and we must line properly," and I seemed I have raised my voice.
"For the information of everybody, I am Andrei Scott, the only son of the Mayor here and don't you know that my father was the one who was giving your family a noble life?" Yes, Andre's right but he must not act like that, he must not be an arrogant.
Arnold, his father was a really one productive mayor. His plans and aspirations for his place was successful and all families here in Alcott benefits from him. Every month, he self-visit every house here then he gives supplies, groceries and money depending on the family's income rate. So I guess, I don't have the right to this "only son of the Mayor."
He noticed my silence. "Very good kid," he whispered and tapped my shoulder. This guy is insulting. He's like Henry. Just because they have the authority and power, you can't seem to fight them.
I decided to escape the scene and someone reached my hand.
"I'm sorry, I ruined your day," I said to her.
"What are you talking about Drake? This is not my day, this is our day," she said in a cheerful grace.
"I guess you're right," I allowed.
"C'mon let's go in some other restaurant here."
"Good idea."
While we're having our breakfast, someone tapped my back and, oh great, it was Xander and with his two stupid friends, laughing.
"Excuse me Margaux," I stood up and grabbed Xander away from our table.
