Lazy students like me wants to sleep in an ongoing discussion or even some would cut it but, hey, thanks to my patience. I can't do that. I don't want failing grades. In my school, once you've been caught cutting a subject, you will be dropped out of that subject.
“Sir, may I go out?,” Henry, my classmate, asked but Professor Brig refused because he knows Henry will escape his class again.
Henry Rose was such a coward student. He was also the master of bullying in my school. I remembered one time how he tried to stole my weekly savings.
It was a one sunny dismissal of Tuesday when I was tempted to buy an apple for my mom. I was getting my wallet out of my bag when he grabbed it badly and throw it to his dumb friends. I have no choice but to get it. They find it funny every time I fail to get back my wallet until I lose my balance. Henry and his friends were pretty seemed enjoyed at me. Afterwards, they gave me back my wallet by throwing it on my lap then walked away. I opened my wallet, seeing there was nothing left. The only thing that was left is our family picture.
“It's okay child,” someone said at my back extending her old, right palm. When I looked up to her, I realized it was the vendor. She helped me stood up and gave me two apples.
“No, thanks,” I said taking the apples and putting it in her tray again.
“No son, I insist,” getting back the apples and offered it again.
“Is it okay?” I shyly responded while slowly accepting her offer. She just nodded and gave me her sweetest smile. How could she smile like that knowing she's living such a poor life? I mean when you look at her, you will feel bad for her. But despite of her poverty, she still knows how to share her blessings. This one was rare.
