"I'm so sorry for the way my parents talked to you."

But still, she was giving me a silent treatment except with her sobs.

"Hey, look at me," lifting her chin up and she did looked at me. I reached her hands and wiped her tears.

"I really felt the urge to hug her right now and I hope she feels the same way. Afterwards, she hugged me back. Again, this feeling . . .

"Oh Drake, I really don't know what to do without you. I just don't know how to tell them that I don't know who my parents are or where they are. I-I--"

"Ssh. It's alright now," then I kissed her forehead and she stared at me, blankly.

Wait.

Did. I. Just. Kiss. Her. Forehead?

Awkwardly, I let go of her.

"I guess ,see you around," I said, changing the subject.

"Oh wait."

I looked at her. "Can you do me a favor?"

"Sure, anything for you Margaux."

"Can you ask your parents if they have a friend or someone they know that aborted their child?"

"What?"

"I mean, aborted their child, instead?"

"Oh, okay, that's about your mother huh?"

"Exactly Drake. Well, see you later."

"Y-yeah, sure."

When I got home, mom apologized at me directly.

"Tell Margaux, I was really sorry," she said with a sympathtetic tone.

"Don't worry mom. Its okay."

"I really feel sad for her."

Then I let out a sigh and continue what I am eating.

"Are you two together." Mom asked in a middle of nowhere and her face now was somewhat insulting to me.

I stopped eating and faced her.

"What made you think we're together mom?"

"Hey, don't accused me. Its your cousins sho told us."

"Who? Xander?"

"They're many, you know," and she laughed.

"Drake, if you two are together, its fine with me really and I know it's also fine with your dad. Right sweetheart?," she turned to Dad, giving him a "hey-agree-with-me-look"

"Sure. Not a problem for me." Dad tapped my shoulder, then.

Do I really want Margaux to be my girlfriend? But I haven't know her yet. I only knew some details about her.

"But guys, the thing is we're NOT in a relationship nor in a mutual understanding," I said, emphasizing the word "NOT".

"Well, cous . . . " Xander suddenly joined the conversation. Is he going to give me a tip about love? The hell I care about his tip! For the information of everyone, Xander is a player and doesn't know anything about love, " . . . I think you're in denial stage.

"Shut up! Why would I listen to you?"

"Because I'm an expert in love."

"And what do you know about love?"

Xander looked at me insultingly and mom and dad laughed. Are they waiting for my answer?

"No, really. Hey, you taught me about being honest mom, right?"
