I've tried being clean for a while
it doesn't work.
the longing for some kind of peace
takes over your mind.
and then you're not clean anymore
then you try to avoid it
you fail
it always comes back to haunt you
you can't wear shorts
you can't wear short sleeves
you can't wear a swim suit
you can't let them know.
because people like clean
people like pure
people like perfection
people like sane
people don't like me.
so one day,
maybe I'll be clean enough,
good enough,
for them.
