Darkness

She's always in the background
She learned to know her place
Her head is spinning around
Because it has a broken base
Society why do you cry?
When you're the reason they're gone?
Society don't you know why?
They died because you killed them.
Their necks are broken
From the times they hung
For the things never spoken
But the things that they sung
Because "those geeks are losers"
"They'll never fit in"
They're freaks, we're winners
Until we're in our coffins.
We're all the same
When we're six feet under
They'll forget your name
Like the sun forgets thunder
So what's with all the labels?
You're no better than them
Let's just turn the tables
And see if you still win
Because that girl you see
She sits in darkness
Because the world can be
So heartless
