Chapter 14

‘Goodbye Psycho’ Damon’s voice faded in my ears but it sounded right against the phone. For a second, I thought I was hearing things.

“I’m trying to get some sleep,” I could even hear his voice crackle because of the crappy phone I had. Blood rushed into my cheeks and spread across all over my face.

“Damon,” I whisper, his name barely making it past my lips. My mouth widely opened in shock and my fingers became slippery loosing hold of my cell-phone. I could feel my own heartbeat pounding against my chest.

“Bye...!” Damon gives a sarcastic happy tone threw the phone. I finally blink and yell out “No...! Wait...! Damon, oh my... You’re alive. I’m so glad you alive!” My voice was at the weakest as it could be. Hot tears were forming up in my eyes. The fear was disappearing but now I was felt with too much excitement.

“Yea... I am,” He dryly responds “Why do you sound surprised? Is there something wrong with your voice?” A smile slipped across my lips and I ran to the door. My hand reaches for the door knob and opens it. I was going to hot wire a car to get to Damon if I had to.

“Because they said you might not live! Thank you so much for living! I’m so sorry. You didn’t have to do that for me. Don’t ever do it again, promise me or I will go Psycho on you like I did on Lucian!” I threatened and I tripped on the way to the front door of my apartment. There was silence over the phone. I easily stand up again.

“What are you talking about?” Damon calmly asks.

“Right... You wouldn’t know about Lucian,” I mutter under my breath and slip on my shoes while at it. It was seven o’clock and I couldn’t care less about being dead on tired. I had to go see Damon alive.

“I’ll be right there,” I tell Damon.

“I’m trying to sleep. It’s freaking early psycho,” Damon says threw his teeth and then relaxes his voice with honesty “But... I wouldn’t mind seeing you breathing.” I smile brightly and then I reach for my keys, under the mattress.

“I’ll meet you there, bye demon,” I tease back and he hangs up. A firm grip was onto my wrist that was grabbing for the key. I heavily breathe out and stand up, facing my griper. Seth looked at me with a hard tight mask on him to hide his true emotions. Whenever he felt so much emotion, he gives an emotionless face.

“Don’t go,” He harshly says it.

“Seth...” It started sweet and turned into rage “How fucking dare you not tell me Damon was out of the coma!?” I gave him one of the hardest glares I could give to a person. His teeth were clenched and he wouldn’t let his grip loosen from me. We stare into each other’s eyes but not with passion, no it was rage, hurt and lost. We had long minutes of silence just staring.

“Let go of me,” I told him.

“No,” He firmly says with a strong painful grip.

“Don’t make me hurt you,” I threaten.

“I never had a chance...?” He brings up with a sorrow hurt voice. My face grew pale and my mouth open to explain what he had heard. He heard me talk to Lucian. Did he hear the rest of it? He had to...

“That was-“I began. He loses his grip of me.

“-If you wanted him, you could have fucking told me a long time ago!” Seth yelled taking steps back. I felt a deep pain throb into my chest. This fight is not over.
