Second book of 'Trying to keep the player'

“I love you,” He whispered in my ear. I pulled him closer to me as we stayed over at the couch. His life filled eyes looked into my mines.

“I love you too,” I smile looking up into him. He only saw me. He touched my cheek and then pulled me closer to him. His lips pressed against into mine. My heart warmed around again and I kissed him back slowly. My eyes closed and I let him take my breath away. He sighs and backs up from me. I was confused why he pulled back. When I opened my eyes the illusion was gone. He got up from the couch.

“What’s wrong...?” I asked with a hard voice demanding to be told. Seth sighs as he stretches his arms and heads into the kitchen. We were in my apartment. I crossed my arms waiting for my eyes. He turns his head toward me as he walked. I looked into his blond hair and remember he wasn’t my first kiss.

“What’s wrong with you?” He asks putting the blame on me.

“Seth what are you talking about?” I ask upset. Seth opens the fridge.

“God Lexi, you’re as dense as you were last year,” Seth rolls his eyes and stares into the fridge and opens it up more. He stares at me pointing at the lots of cake and desserts into my fridge. I smile widely and he rolls his eyes and looks back at the fridge.

“And yet...You don’t get fat,” Seth says in disbelieve.

“You want me fat? And I’m not dense, I just don’t get what you’re talking about,” I honestly say.

“Trust me, you’re dense...” he says still looking into the fridge “Okay... So you have a whole side filled with desserts. You have tomatoes, cheese, hot dogs, cold pizza... You’re lucky I cook.”I just laughed and wanted to remind him about the incident.

“You blew up the stove!” I exclaimed.

“At least I learned from my mistake,” he mentions.

“I’m not hungry,” I point out to him. He closes the fridge and looks disappointment.

“Do you want to be like Sam now?” He asks.

“No... I’m just not hungry. Anyways, what are we going to do today?” I asked him. He walks over to me again and sits properly. Then he pulls out the remote to my T.V. I grabbed the remote back but he held onto it strongly. We both gave death glares to each other.

“You are not watching that stupid show,” I warned him.

“You liked that show,” he reminded me.

“Yea but now I don’t...” I sigh.

“Because of him...?” he asks.

“Who...?” I question because I honestly had no clue who he was talking about.

“Gees, this is what I mean your dense,” He quickly gave a kiss to my forehead. He was shirtless and he had abs. I was frustrated though.

“Who is him? And what did you mean by ‘what’s wrong with you?’” I ask.

“Damon... Who else..?” He reminds me of him. My body stopped cold as the heart ache returned. Seth looked over at me and noticed.

“No, not really,” I shrug and I couldn’t believe that it’s been a year. Seth put his arm around me and pulled me in.

“Wanna play that game, the one with the car again?” He asks smiling brightly. My eyes widened as I remembered that game. I pulled his arm off me and kept on a serious sarcastic face.

“I will beat your ass,” I threatened him.

“No cheating,” He warned me.

“I never cheat,” I smile at him and he narrows his eyes at me. Then suddenly my cell-phone rang. I groaned because I really wanted to get into the game. Then I looked over at my caller ID and I felt fury burning up into me. The ugly piece of shit that by name is my sister was calling me. I’m not giving her anymore money for brain surgery! She’d probably use it to get plastic surgery. I put the phone and down.
