Silence filled every corner of the large mansion. Every where my eye went, I could see the lasers emitting from the sides of the walls. I had to be careful if I wanted to get back to my apartment. Even the smallest sound could trigger his awake and discover my harmful plans. I already knew I was being selfish but how dare the Demon keep me in his lair?

So here’s what’s up, I have to act like a spy in those TV shows or A. maybe be killed by the lasers. B. Be run over by the demon’s car if he knew what I was doing. I should have got help from the assassin.

One leg goes between two lines of lasers, parallel to each other and than I had trouble of fitting my head, arm and than my other leg through it. Should have took acrobats or gymnastic. My flexibility was the same as a stick. I stretch an arm at the other side. Sweat was running down my forward. Then I came up with an idea. I pull my leg back in and then start sliding, crawling myself under the lines, very carefully. Luckily, I was skinny enough to fit under. I fit through and there stood bunch of more layers of lasers

He’s a billionaire, what do you expect Lexis? – I mentally groan. Pretending to be a spy was a lot more fun when I was a kid. Who knew it was this much effort to make it through and not get burned in the process!?

Okay, focus Lexis, you can do this! I cheer myself on. I start going deeper into the lasers and start to come up with a way to go through. It involves making bridges, bending my back until I felt as if they were going to break. Who’d think I’d have to break out!? I actually feel pity for a burglar trying to get in here. When they do get in, and get the money and other stuff they'd get too tired to escape and pass out.

The lasers finally came to an end, at least as far as I could see. I freely walk into the darkness. It was so freaking dark!I put my arms around, leading my way through. It was getting easier.

            “he-he-he,”

Okay...

                                  What...was that?

Thank you Demon, you’ve actually made me psychotic! I’m hearing things! I need to calm down and stop hearing things. It’s not like the grudge, or a little un-dead girl is going to pop out of me and attempt to kill me. That’s just SILLY! I slip up a forced smile on my face. Keep walking...!

I still carefully walked but I was starting to get Goosebumps. At my right, I felt a wall. I turn myself around and kept on going intill my big toe bumped into something. My jaw dropped open and the blood rushed to my face. My body was shaking of anger and my mouth was filled with swear words and a bloody scream. I make my cheeks big and held the pain in with little tears strolling down my cheeks form my stubbed toe. Should have not worn slippers...

                                                        “He-he-he, where are you?”

A shiver went down my spine. If this was the day, I wouldn’t be scared at all. I’d go demand whoever it was to shut up! But, I’m alone in the dark and all criminal shows I’ve ever watched return to my head. I just stopped dead cold, and then turned around and my eyes stood wide and my heart just stopped.

OH MY GOSH! I’m. Going. To. Die.

Little small sobs escape from my mouth as I stare at the little body right in front of me. A little girl, brown hair, very messy, and in dark clothing, scars all over her face and with twisted fingers faced me. Screams escape from my mouth hoping anybody but the paranormal heard me! I shut my eyes and then turn around and run without resting my voice.
