Raven's pov
Gosh. My head is pounding from all of this thinking. It's starting to become to much to handle.
I punch the glass.
Yes I am scared that I will cut my hand on the glass again but I need to get out of here. And if that means hurting my hand again then lets just say that I'm going to do it.
The glass shatters and a pain in my hand comes up afterwards.
Of course just as I predicted.
Lucky I didn't get cut again though.
I look around me checking to see if anyone was running towards me because they heard the glass braking but much to my surprise there was no one running my way. I find that both shocking but at the same time not. I mean I would of known if they were watching me. Now that I think of it I'm shocked that I didn't try something really stupid to get there attention. If they were there. Oh well.
I look out the window smelling the fresh air. I smile softly and look at the remaining glass. I have watched enough movies to know that I would hurt myself if I try to leave through that kind of window.
I knock the rest of the glass out so that I wouldn't get cut and pulled myself up towards the window to squeeze my body through. I was about halfway through before someone grabbed my waist. And I screamed.
Raven's pov
"R-Raven shut up!" A voice yells.
I squirm kicking trying to make the person let go of me. I failed. As usual. The stranger pulled me out and pinned me against the wall roughly yet gently pinning my hands against the wall and pressing their body against mine. I close my eyes tightly looking away.
"Raven its me," The voice says, "Open your eyes."
I listen and look at the person surprised to see who it was. It was Nathan. But, What in the world is he doing here. Could he be the one behind this?
"Are you okay?" He asks me in a worried tone.
I nod my head not knowing how else to respond to him.
"I'm okay." I say in a small voice.
He lets my hands go hugging me tightly.
"I'm glad your okay." He tells me.
I hug him back carefully, happy to see him.
"We need to get out of here as soon as possible. I don't want them to find you again. Your mi... Lets go." He tells me.
He lifts me up softly so I can climb through the window.
Once I was out I heard him pulling himself up.
I looked around as he climbed out.
The screams were still there. I also heard growling.
"Where are those screams coming from?" I asked Nathan curiously.
"Oh I'm not really sure." He told me.
"Oh." I answer back to him.
Was he telling me the truth? I honestly have no idea who I can trust. I never do.
He takes my hand.
"Lets get to my house so you can get cleaned up and changed okay?" He said softly looking into my eyes.
His eyes shone brightly with kindness and sweetness.
I nodded looking away from him before he could make me blush.
He pulled me away and into the trees running at my speed so that I didn't lost him. His hand was in mine and he held it like he was afraid of me disappearing again.
He stopped.
"Nath-" I managed to say before he pushed me against a tree putting his body against mine again. I blushed brightly, "N-Nathan!"
"Shh," He places a hand over my mouth and leans closer whispering into my ear, "They might hear you."
We stayed like that for a few more minutes before he let me go. We mainly kept silent except sometimes our footsteps could be heard. I couldn't understand how he knew which way his house was. And which way to go. Every direction seemed the same to me. I can't tell which was is north. I would be lost in here as much as I was lost inside of that house. Or whatever it was.
It had taken a lot longer then I thought to arrive at his house.
We walked through the door and my eyes widened.
He has to be freaking rich.
"The bathroom is upstairs. I should go get you some of my clothes do you want to take a bath or a shower?" He asked.
"Shower." I answered looking away from the walls to him.
"I'll leave the clothes outside of the door for you okay? I'll show you which door is the bathroom follow me." He told me going up the stairs.
I looked up at him seeing his ass.
Perfect.
I shock my head and started up the stairs following him.
He stopped at a door and opened it.
I went inside and he closed it after I did.
I looked around at everything before taking off my clothes and pulling the curtains closed and starting the shower. I got in after a few minutes letting the water run down my body. After a few minutes I washed off and took a shower. I turned off the water when I was done using the towels that was hung up to dry off my hair and my body. I blushed at the fact that Nathan probably had dried his body and hair with the same towel too. I hung the towel up when I was done flipping the switch for the fan to come on and then opened the door a tiny bit to see clothes laid on the floor in front of the door. I grabbed them and closed the door looking at them. It was a long sweat shirt and some pajama pants. I could clearly tell that they belonged to Nathan. I slipped them on and left the bathroom leaving the door open a little bit to let the steam out. I skipped down the stairs and found Nathan down there sitting on the couch.
"Hey." I said softly.
He looked over at me looking me over from head to toe. I thought that I heard a small growl but I could be wrong.
"You look better in them then I do." He told me softly.
"Sure I do." I said rolling my eyes.
"Hey um Raven can I tell you something?" He asked.
I could hear in the tone of his voice that he was worried about something.
"Of course you can." I told him.
He took a moment just looking at me. I started to get a little bit nervous about what he had to say. I couldn't help but wonder if it was about something bad or something like that.
"We are mates."
