Chapter Twelve: Nerd boy

Nathen's point of view

"I don't feel like using a diving suit okay?" Raven said taking the diving suit off.

"Okay okay," Nerd boy said, "Whats the matter with you?"

Raven looked at him then she looked at the ground a little shocked. A minute later she looked over at the tank and jumped in. Me and Max ran over to the edge.

"What's going on with her!" Max said.

I could hear a little bit of worry in his tone. Max was getting ready to go in but I stopped him.

"Max stay here I'll go see what's going on," I told him.

He nodded.

I jumped into the water not wanting to put on the diving suit. It will take longer to find Raven if I do. The water greeted me like it always does. It wasn't pushing me up so I was able to go anywhere I wanted to. If I was in water and was thinking of where I wanted to go. I would go. I closed my eyes and thought about Raven. About when I first meet her. I smiled. Just thinking about her makes me happy. If I told my siblings or any of my family how I felt they would probably get mad at me. I felt the water move around me and I saw raven near by going up for air. I quickly willed the water to push me up. Once I was up I pretended that I was out of breathe so Raven wouldn't ask me any questions.

"Why are you following me?" She asked me when she got her breath back.

"Had to see if you were okay," I told her.

"Well I am perfectly fine," She answered looking around her.

"No you aren't. If you were fine you wouldn't have taken off like that," I said.

I willed my self to go over to her and then I grab her hand.

"Come on we need to get back," I said.

She shook her head and pulled her hand away. I felt sad when she had done that.

"I don't want to go back," She said diving back into the water.

I dived back in after her.
