The bell rang and Valarie put her books in her bag. that was the last lesson and now she would go home. As she left the class, she noted how some of the classrooms were already empty and the lights had turned off. The teacher intentionally delayed them, she thought and felt upset. As she walked across the dark corridor she heard a crashing noise and some voices from one of the empty class rooms. She would have ignored it if the voice wasn't familiar.
"Why are you hear?" the voice was angry and rude...Valarie hoped her suspicion was wrong as she peeked into the dark classroom where the noise came from.
"Hey let me go, i don't even know what you are talking about," said a weak nerdy boy with glasses as he tried to escape from the other boy who blocked his way. the nerd looked scared and nervous but she couldn't see the other person.
"Shut up!" the other person yelled, got hold of his collar, swung him and pushed him against the wall. the face of the person was now partially clear and even though he didn't look like himself, Valarie still recognized him; Isaac.
"you wouldnt hurt a guy with glasses would you," said the nerd trying to defend himself...there as a little mocking-ness in his tone. but Isaac punched him hard on the face that his glasses cracked and fell on the floor, then Isaac got hold of his throat. his anger made him look so scary, Valarie couldnt believe what she was seeing. Then the nerd whispered something that she couldnt hear. This made Isaac toss the boy aside with unbelievable strength...the boy fell near the door but no one saw Valarie yet.
"I dont ever want to see you here again," Isaac shouted as the boy crawled across the floor and got his broken glasses. He quickly put the glasses on and rushed to the door like frightened kitten.
the boy ran right past Valarie, completely ignoring her and cried, "you're such a bully!" When he came into the light she saw that the boy was short and skinny, blonde and his face was sweaty and pale due to fear. He rushed away without looking back.
Then Isaac saw her, shocked, stunned and scared. She was frozen before the door, staring at him with disbelief. His expression instantly changed, "Valarie," he whispered, he cautiously approached her saying, "I can explain, this isnt..."
She didnt want to hear it, she turned and ran away. she wasnt sure what to feel. he had been lying to her all this time, she wasnt going to hear his lies nor excuses anymore. but she couldnt believe it, Isaac was a bully? and who was that boy? did he really have a reason to beat him so bad? no, no one could deserve to be treated like that. She didnt know what to feel but honestly, she didnt care! she never cared, let him be what he was, he was nothing to her!
