Chapter 1

Juliana's P.O.V

I was sitting on my couch in my living room, staring at the blank Tv in front of me. I didnt bother turning it on Why would i want to watch Tv after what just happened?

I just broke up with my boyfriend Jerry to find my mate, but he didnt take it to well, And then i started thinking about what happened today again.

Flashback

I was telling him that i needed my mate, i was trying so hard to explain to him that i need to find him. But Jerry didn't take that too well.

When he wasn't listening to what i was saying i just kept saying that I'm going to find my mate, and i told Jerry that i couldn't be with him anymore.

Then, he started to scream at me telling me that i wasn't leaving him, And that i am staying with him, And then he threw his beer bottle at the wall.

i watched as it shattered and landed on the floor in a pile of several pieces of glass covered in beer.

I could have been quiet ,But being the stupid person i am i told him that i was leaving him and i wasn't staying with him anymore.

After i said that his hand slapped my left cheek very hard, i could feel the hot tears falling off of my face and landing on the floor. I had to bite my now trembling lip to stop me from screaming.

Instead of looking at him i decided that the best thing to do was to avoid eye contact with him. But when he noticed that i was avoiding eye contact, he thought i was being disrespectful so he grabbed a big chunk of my dirty blonde hair and pulled at it very roughly.

I couldn't contain the scream that came out, and then his right knee connected to my gut.

I fell to the floor and started sobbing and holding my now aching stomach. While my body was limp on the ground i started to think about how Jerry use to be, before all of the drinking and violence.

Before all of this he was a good boyfriend.

I listened to Jerrys heavy footsteps march out of the house, And i heard his truck engine roar to life. And speed out of the driveway.

After awhile i decided it would be best to go home. I got up and attempted to run out of his house and to my own house.

But when i got close to my house my aching stomach was too much to handle so i shifted into my beautiful gray wolf.

I ran into my house making sure that no one was home so i could shift back into my human form. After i shifted, i ran upstairs into my bathroom and took one of the coldest showers of my life.

After my shower i walked into my closet, and got dressed into a pair of big comfy sweat pants and an over sized t-shirt.

And then i brushed my hair and put it into a bun on the top of my head, and then i realized that i have been deep in thought and just staring at the wall.

I finally decided that i should go watch Tv to keep my mind off of what mess i created today.

End of Flashback

I walked out of my bedroom, down the stairs, and into my living room. I sat down on my comfy cream coloured couch.

And instead of looking for the remote for the Tv I just stared at the blank Tv screen.

After awhile i got off of my couch and ran out of the living room and ran into my bedroom. Then i started packing my necessities such as: A couple outfits, bras, underwear, shower supplies, and some stacks of money that were hiden in my closet by my dad.

I put all of that into my suitcase zipped it up and ran out of the house as fast as i could. If i was going to look for my mate i needed to go now before anybody saw me. I needed to find him.

Sorry this chapter was really bad., and very short. But i promise the book wil get better!!!
