They really missed their parents. Claire's family was bankrupt and they didn't have any money.
Speaking of money, they're jealous of the most richest family I.T.W (In The World) which has to be the "Pretty Boys". A complete family, stabled money, and healthy. They really didn't care because 'Health is Wealth'.

They called their parents so they could talk in Skype™, and they approved.
The boys were maybe at the basketball. No signs of the boys anyway.
