Chapter 2

Anakin's Turmoil

On the planet Coruscant, in the Jedi Temple Ahsoka's former master Anakin Skywalker is going through a drastic change. He felt betrayed by the Jedi Council for exiling Ahsoka for crimes she didn't commit. He walked down the hall of the gorgeous Jedi Temple, and headed to Ahsoka's quarters. The door was already open, he entered and looked around and it was quite empty. The tormented Jedi was incredibly conflicted with the Jedi, he didn't want this to happen, he misses Ahsoka being by his side, she gave him a reason to smile. He put his hood up and walked out to his Starfighter, he sensed Obi-Wan following him. "Anakin where are you going?", asked Obi-Wan. Anakin ignored him and got in his Starfighter, Obi-Wan sensed the darkness in him reaching it's breaking point. While he was flying through the city in his ship, Anakin was deliberating if he should leave the Jedi. He flew to his quarters, and Padme was waiting for him. "Ani I was so worried about you," said Padme. Anakin was so angry at the council that he ignored her and went to his room to grab his black Jedi cloak. "Ani?," said Padme worryingly. He looked at her angrily and she backed away, then Anakin walked to his ship. Padme stood there in shock from Anakin's actions lately, they weren't like him. A tear fell from her face and she desperately wanted her husband back. During his flight to the Jedi Temple, Anakin abandoned his Jedi ways and decided the time for the Jedi was over. He landed in front of the Temple and put his hood up and began to walk towards the entrance. A fellow knight approached him and said "Skywalker, how are you?". Anakin turned in rage and ignited his lightsaber and thrusted his saber through his chest. The shocked Jedi fell to the ground dead, the other Jedi saw this transpire and jumped to Anakin's location. They all drew their lightsabers and approached him, Anakin looked at them all. "Walk away now, while your still breathing!," shouted Anakin. "I didn't know you would fall to the dark side Skywalker," said one of the knights. Anakin reached out with the force and choked one of the Jedi's while the others charged at him. He blocked all of their attacks with his superior blocking technique, and slashed through their abdomens. The shocked Jedi's felt their bodies detach from their abdomens and they fell in half. "You're all pathetic fools," said Anakin. He walked past their bodies and began to massacre the entire Jedi temple, by himself. He approached the council chamber and sensed a very powerful Jedi on the other side, Anakin channeled his rage and walked in. The last Jedi alive in the Temple was Jedi Master Mace Windu, Anakin knows this will not be an easy fight. "I knew we couldn't trust you," said Mace. "Is that what you told Ahsoka before you exiled her from the Order, do you have any idea how corrupt you Jedi are?!," shouted Anakin. Mace ignited his lightsaber and turned around to face Anakin. "You're feelings have made you corrupt Skywalker, let go of your hatred," Windu begged. Anakin wasn't hearing it, he activated his lightsaber and channeled his anger. "This is the end for you Jedi," said Anakin. "Let's end this "Chosen One"," said Windu mockingly. Anakin charged at Windu with an overhead strike, which Windu easily blocked, Windu countered with an side slash which Anakin blocked easily. Anakin twirled his saber for a combo, Windu moved out of the way and used the force to push Anakin into a wall. In rage Anakin uses the force to push Windu, but he jumps out of the way, blowing a hole through the side of the Council chamber. Anakin charged at Windu to slash at his feet, but Windu jumped over the saber and tried to slash at Anakin's throat. He dodged it quickly and kicked Mace which flew him back to the wall and cracked it. Mace got up and he and Anakin clashed sabers, both were evenly matched in power. Anakin gained the upper hand when he tripped Mace and he fell to his knees, Anakin raised his saber and said "Any last words Jedi?," said Anakin. "There is no death, only the force," said Windu accepting death. Anakin swung his lightsaber on Windu's head which decapitated him and used the force to throw him out. Anakin put his hood up and walked to the exit of the Temple, where the clone troopers waited for him. "All remaining Jedi are traitors to the Republic, hunt them down and destroy them," said Anakin. "Yes my lord," said Cody. Anakin has left the Jedi behind and now joined the Sith Empire. He orders the troopers to plant explosives and destroy the temple, they agree and within seconds the Temple is up in flames. Anakin has dubbed himself a new name, Darth Vader. He now has a new mission, to find his former apprentice Ahsoka Tano and have her join him once again, but not on the side of light, but of the dark.
