Chapter 19

"Once You Start Down The Dark Path"

After Ahsoka met the droid Proxy, she felt a sharp pain in her head. It was like a molten feeling came over her, and engulfed her skull. She went into her living quarters while still holding her head in pain, but she didn't know what was causing this pain. She heard a familiar voice in her head, it was very faint but she could hear it. "Kill, kill everyone, leave none alive, destroy the Jedi," echoed the voice in her head. Ahsoka resisted, but the pain grew immensely inside her head as the voice got louder. "Feeble girl, destroy the Jedi and gain more power than you can imagine," the voice said. She knew that voice all too well, it was the rough, coarse voice of Emperor Palpatine. His voice got even louder, as she held her head in pain. Starkiller sensed what was going on and rushed to her room. "Are you okay?," asked Starkiller. As he went to put his hand on her shoulder, Ahsoka used the force to push him back. The voice stopped as she engaged Starkiller, so she knows what she has to do. She used the force to retrieve her white lightsabers, as Starkiller activated his own. Proxxy activated a force field around the room they were in. "We can duel all we want in here, no holds barred," said Starkiller looking at Ahsoka. Her head was still looking at the floor, suddenly she jumped into the air activating her lightsabers and attacked Starkiller in a flurry of aggressive strikes. He blocked all of the strikes easily and parried her last strike with a uppercut with his lightsaber hilt on her chin. She flew into the air in pain, when suddenly anger flowed through her once again. As she flew into the air, she threw her lightsabers at Starkiller as he dodged them. When Ahsoka landed she used the force to retrieve her sabers, then ran after Starkiller. He turned around and began attacking Ahsoka with an abdominal strike, she side stepped it perfectly, as she managed to land a direct slash onto his torso. "Pretty impressive for a Jedi in training," said Starkiller smiling. Ahsoka's head started burning once again, as Starkiller ran to her. "Ahsoka!," he yelled. Her skin began to revert to its pale complexion, as her Torguta crown began to crack once more. She looked up at him, her eyes changing once again from peaceful blue, to hatred filled yellow. She kicked him into the air and she concentrated into her anger, as she unleashed a barrage of force lightning. The pain Starkiller felt was so unbearable as he began to scream, much to Ahsoka's delight. She exerted even more power into her lightning attack, as Starkiller looked at his hands as they were starting to become incinerated. "Die Jedi!," screamed Ahsoka as she grabbed her lightsabers and with one swift strike across Starkiller's neck, the tendons around the neck tore, the veins disappearing as the molten hot blade of her saber cauterized the decapitated part of his body. She stood over his body in triumph as she lifted up her sabers to her face. The crystals inside began to become corrupted once more, and thus the saber color became a piercing blood red. She exited the room and set coordinates to the most powerful being in the galaxy, or in her mind the second most powerful. She set the coordinates for Coruscant and was going to confront Emperor Palpatine. She felt the light pull on her once again, but she easily pushed it aside. She knew she needed the dark side if she wanted to defeat Palpatine. She reached Coruscant as she entered Imperial space, she flew by a star destroyer. "Come in unidentified craft, you are entering Imperial space, state your business or we will open fire," said the officer. "This is Darth Xina, and I'm returning on my mission for the Emperor," said Ahsoka. "I'm sorry, but without the correct codes we cannot let you-", the officer began to choke as Ahsoka used the force. "Don't test me officer, now let me through!," shouted Ahsoka. "Y-yes, m-my lady," choked the officer. She flew past the Imperial fleet and entered the atmosphere of Coruscant. She went to her living quarters and began to meditate and focus deeply into the dark side, she knew that only one of the will leaving there alive.
