Chapter 20

"Forever Will It Dominate Your Destiny"

As Xina's ship descended into Coruscant's atmosphere, she strongly felt the presence of the Emperor. An intense feeling came over her as she descended to the cities below, the dark side was very strong here and she relished in it. She landed on the landing deck at the Chancellors office, as she exited the Emperor himself came out to greet her. "Welcome, young Tano," Palpatine said with a grin. She bowed her head in respect and began to walk with Palpatine. "You have grown stronger since you're encounter with Lord Vader," said Palpatine. "The dark side is strong, and I become stronger with it," said Ahsoka with confidence. "Excellent, with my knowledge you will become more powerful than ever," said Palpatine. "I'm looking forward to it my master," said Xina smiling. They kept walking until they reached the balcony of the office, and looked out to the city. There was an uneasy silence between the two, until Palpatine began to speak once again. "It's unfortunate, that you're attempting to deceive me," said Palpatine. Xina felt a cold chill go down her spine as her hand were on her sabers. Palpatine immediately turned around and used force lightning on Xina, as she began to feel a burning sensation go through her body. The pain was causing her great anger, she struggled and began to focus. She used the force to concentrate the lightning into her hands and pushed the Emperor back. She grabbed her lightsabers as the Emperor grabbed his own saber. "Such a shame, you could have been my successor, my equal," said Palpatine angrily. "Once I kill you, I will succeed you," said Xina. Palpatine jumped into the air and swung his saber close to her head to decapitate her, but she blocked it. She parried his strike and kicked his chin, he flew up into the air as Xina landed a combination of kicks to his chest. As he fell towards the floor, Palpatine landed on his feet and looked up to see the offensive Darth Xina attempting to slash him across the face with her saber, but the Emperor side stepped it. The Emperor let out a roaring laugh as he started to attack Xina with a flurry of strikes, as she stumbled back from the onslaught. She got up and looked up at the Emperor, she has never fought someone this strong in the dark side. This excited her to a dark degree, she began to smile as she advanced towards the Emperor with her lightsaber raised. She sliced downwards at his cranium, but to no avail as he used the force to fly backwards. "You will suffer before I kill you," said the Emperor cackling with laughter. "I can see that you're getting angry, are you afraid Palpatine?," said Xina grinning. The Emperor kept silent as he drew his lightsaber and growled maliciously at Xina. She drew her lightsabers up and charged at the Emperor, who put up a block, but Xina was faster as she landed a blow on his hand. Angered by the pain, the Emperor called upon the dark side to inflict more pain to her. He turned around and shot electrical currents of force lightning at Xina. She put her lightsabers in front of her to block the attack, but she was being pushed back. The Emperor advanced closer as Xina was being pushed into a corner, feeling the pressure of the dark side by the Emperor was channeling her anger even more. Her eyes began to glow yellow as she pushed back against the Emperor. She kept pushing back towards the Emperor until she saw an opening. She kicked the Emperor in the kneecaps, shattering them as he fell to the floor in pain. She then took her lightsabers and sliced through Palpatine's hands, as he looked on in horror as he saw the hot plasma of Darth Xina's sabers cut through his flesh. He groaned in pain as he looked up at Xina with a sadistic smile as her sabers were near his face. "Good, good, you've let your anger flow," said Palpatine. "Now strike me down and become more powerf-" as the Emperor was speaking, Xina thrusted her saber through Palpatine's mouth. "I've heard enough of your talking old man," said Xina. Palpatine's body exploded with dark side energy as Xina watched unimpressed. She deactivated her lightsabers and sat in his chair, as his Imperial Royal Guard ran in. "Protect the Emperor, wait who are you?", shouted the guard. Xina looked up at the guard angrily and put up her hood. "Does it look like Palpatine is here, I killed him, which means I'm the Empress of the galaxy," said Xina proudly. "We don't take orders from you," said the guard defiantly. Xina used the force and began to choke the guard and he felt his windpipe being crushed. As the other guard ran towards her to stop her, but he was met with a barrage of force lightning. "Submit and become my royal servants of the Empire, my Empire," Xina said with a voice that was clearly not her own. She relinquished the hold on the guards throat and stopped electrocuting the other guard, as they both bowed to her. "Excellent," said Xina with a sinister smile. "Now let's get to work on rebuilding my Empire,".
