Chapter 17

A New Hope

Galen held his hand out for Xina, she kept looking at Galen with tears in her eyes. After resisting it for so long, she grabbed his hand and he lifted her up. "You've made the right choice," said Galen. " She didn't answer him because the pain she felt of being defeated. "I need time to heal my wounds," said Xina. "Of course, you can use the medical bay on my ship," said Galen smiling. She looked directly into his eyes, she couldn't describe what she was feeling at that moment. Before she spoke, she walked away to the ship. Galen followed her aboard the ship, and began the takeoff sequence. Xina entered the medical bay, and she sat down on the chair. She took off her torn Sith robes and she used the force on her dismembered arm. It began to cauterize the wound, and she hissed in pain as she continued. She walked out and Galen was in the doorframe of the medical bay. "What is your name?," asked Galen. "Darth Xina," said Xina with pride. "Before you became a Sith, what was your name?," he asked again. She looked down and paused "I-I don't remember," said Xina sadly. Galen walked towards her and put his hand on her head, and began to read her mind. "Your name is Ahsoka Tano, Jedi Padawan of the Republic," said Galen smiling. Xina stayed silent, during her brutal training under Darth Vader and The Emperor, she became so immersed in the dark side she forgot her past. "M-my name, that was my name?," asked Xina with tears in her eyes. Galen felt so much sympathy for her, that he gave her a hug. "You'll come back I know you can Ahsoka," said Galen. The paleness began to leave her body and the cracks on her talons began to heal. Her eyes returned to piercing blue instead of hatred filled yellow. She looked at Galen and smiled for the first time in years, and said "Thank you,". Galen smiled at the newly restored Ahsoka and looked at her with happiness. "No problem, we will have training tomorrow," said Galen. "I need to meditate to prepare," said Ahsoka with concern. "As you wish," said Galen leaving the room. She followed him out, and she went to another room which was rather quite empty. She sat in the middle of the room and began to meditate. Visions of her past began to haunt her during the meditations. She saw herself with her old master Anakin Skywalker, and he was smiling at her and she was happy. Suddenly this vision faded into her standing in front of Anakin at the Jedi Temple. She heard herself talking to him, and it broke her heart hearing what she said. "I need to do this without the council, without you," said Ahsoka in the flashback. As Ahsoka watched this vision unfold, she looked at Anakin's face as she said this to him. He was clearly heartbroken as she walked away, down the steps and vanished from sight. Anakin just stood there in disbelief and walked in great sadness as Ahsoka looking like an illusion followed him. He went back up to the council chamber, and was very angry at the council. "I can't believe you, she was the one good thing I had left, and you drove her away!", Anakin shouted at Yoda in anger. "Calm yourself young Skywalker," said Mace Windu sternly. Anakin wasn't having it as he used the force to forcefully open the doors to exit. Ahsoka was extremely shocked that Anakin cared that much about her. She suddenly woke up from the vision and had tears in her eyes. She unbolted her lightsabers from her belt, and activated them. She closed her eyes and focused while using the force. The red color from her sabers began to fade away, she was cleansing her sabers of the darkness. She focused even harder on her sabers, and the red completely faded away. They were a solid, bright white. She looked at her sabers and clenched them and smiled. "My name is Ahsoka Tano," she whispered to herself.

Sorry that I took so long to upload this, I was extremely busy with work and thinking about this chapter, Ahsoka is back on the side of light and will be training with Galen Marek as a Jedi once again! Let's try to get this chapter to at least 10 favorites! May the force be with you!
