Chapter 18

Embracing The Light

After Ahsoka remembered who she was again, she clenched her light sabers in her hands. She got up and started practicing her fighting form, but in a different fashion than before. She cleared her mind, and let go of her anger. Her strikes with her light sabers were more precise, which delighted her. A droid walked out from the dark, and Ahsoka raised her saber at the droid. The droid shaped shifted into Obi-Wan Kenobi, and drew his light saber at the ready. She knew it was a training droid, and it was just a simulation, but it seemed so real. The fake Obi-Wan swung his light saber at Ahsoka, but she easily blocked it. She spun around and was about to impale the fake Obi-Wan, but he blocked from behind. He turned around and kicked her into the wall, and he jumped at her. She thought very quickly and used the force to catch him, and throw him on the ground. "You'll have to embrace the dark side again, in order to defeat me," said the droid once again shape shifting. The face of Obi-Wan began to shift into an all familiar face to her. The droid shape shifted into Emperor Palpatine, right down to his voice. She held her light saber at the ready, and the fake Palpatine looked at her. "I sense the darkness deep within you, ready to be unleashed," said the fake Palpatine. "No, never again," said Ahsoka. "It is unavoidable, it is you're destiny," said Palpatine. He disappeared and suddenly reappeared behind her, she stayed still. "Ah, I see you're fear is gone," said Palpatine smirking. She turned around slowly, being met with force lightning. She blocked it with her light sabers, and began to push it back at Palpatine. He increased the voltage which knocked her sabers away, and her along with them. The pain from the lightning was so agonizing, she began to fade into unconsciousness. Suddenly she heard a voice in her head speaking to her. "Embrace the light and reflect the lightning,". She saw a glimpse of her former master Anakin Skywalker, as a Jedi ghost. She held out her hand in pure agony to reach him, but he disappeared. Ahsoka looked deep inside herself, and began to get up very slowly while being shocked. She closed her eyes, and focused herself in the force. She raised her hands up and she felt the pain from the lightning subside, it was gathering in her hands. She began to push back against the fake Palpatine, and she opened her eyes and pushed even harder. The fake Palpatine was shocked at this revelation, and stopped his attack. She kept her hands up and absorbed the rest of the lightning with the force. She began to pant profusely, and got up to walk to the fake Palpatine with her light sabers drawn. She raised them up to his face, as he looked at her with his hatred filled eyes. "You are beaten," said Ahsoka tiredly. He began to cackle menacingly at her, before shape shifting back into the droid. "Man, I hate being him so much," said the droid. Ahsoka smiled at the droid, and put her hand on its shoulder. "You gave me quite the challenge," said Ahsoka cheerfully. "I wish I can for my master," said the droid. "Has he beaten you before?," asked Ahsoka. The droid laughed loudly and said "Oh yes, about twenty times,". She was shocked at how powerful Galen was, and wanted him to train with her. "What's you're name by the way?", asked Ahsoka. "Oh my name, you can call me what everyone else calls me, Proxy."
