Chapter 14

No Hope

After the shocking death of Darth Vader by the hands of Darth Xina, Emperor Palpatine has taken her as his apprentice. They flew up into the Royal Star Destroyer, and they both got out of their ships. "You have done well, my young apprentice," said Palpatine. "Thank you, my master," said Darth Xina. Palpatine turned and looked at her curiously, and smiled evilly. "I never thought you would become so powerful, you destroyed my strongest enforcer I see you becoming my successor, my equal," said Palpatine. Xina bowed before him and smiled at these words. "Yes, my master thank you," Xina said happily. As she got up Palpatine began to walk towards his throne room, and Xina followed. "What is thy bidding my master?," asked Xina bowing. As Palpatine sat down he said "I have a task for you, there is this metal alloy I need you to retrieve for me, there is a galactic project we are working on, and I need this metal alloy,". One of the Emperor's Royal Guard came in with a chained up Jedi. "This Jedi has the alloy, destroy him and bring me the alloy," Palpatine said coldly. "Please have mercy!," yelled the Jedi. This made the Emperor laugh, and he said "There is no mercy, there is only power, never forget that,". The Jedi looked at Xina and immediately became entranced in fear. "N-no, Ahsoka why?!," yelled the Jedi in disbelief. Xina raised her eyebrow and asked "I don't go by that name anymore, and I don't know who you are,". The Jedi had tendrils like Ahsoka and blue eyes like Ahsoka once did. "You don't recognize your own father?," asked the Jedi. Xina stepped back in shock and drew her light sabers. "You lie!," shouted Xina. "Good, let your hate guide you," instructed Palpatine. "No Ahsoka, it's true I am your father, you've grown so much," said her father. Xina began to walk towards her father with her light sabers still activated. "End him, my apprentice don't let this Jedi get into your head," said Palpatine. "Yes, master," complied Xina. The guard unlocked the chains of the Jedi and gave him his lightsaber. "Fight me or die, your choice!," yelled Xina. The Jedi didn't activate his saber and stood there. "Your my daughter, I can't hurt you," said her father. "That's what makes you weak, I let go of my attachments and I'm more powerful than any Jedi, even you," said Xina. Her father still just stood there, and Xina used the force to push him into the glass which cracked. The emperor began to laugh at his pain. "Yes, good my apprentice," said Palpatine. She lifted him up by his throat with only her hand, demonstrating great strength. Her father began to choke much to Xina's delight. She smiled while her father choked, and she kicked him away into the wall. "Fight me!", yelled Xina. She jumped into the air and attempted to slash her fathers head, but he blocked it with his own saber. "Finally, we got ourselves a true fight," said Xina smiling. "Ahsoka your coming home!," yelled her father. "I am home father!", yelled Xina. She attacked her father with a flurry of strikes and her father dodged all of them easily.
