Most people would start a baseball story off with, “Crack!” or “I rounded third base headed for home.” However, that’s not the kind of story this is. Let me introduce myself. My name is Robert Frank and yes, my last name could be a first name. I am from the Bronx in New York. Like any other teen, my life revolves around baseball. Watching it, playing it, reading it, and yes, sleeping it. A little bit more about me, I am sixteen years old and have never held a relationship for longer than a month. I am not the slimmest figure, weighing in at about two hundred and twenty pounds. I am about five foot eight, and am taller than most of my friends but shorter than the kids who bully me.
Unlike most families around, we don’t have very much money because my dad just got laid off and my mom just filed for the divorce. On top of being broke and heartbroken, I have to go to school every day where kids always point out how fat I am or how dumb I am, though I try to not let it get to me. I am normally focused on baseball. Also, if anyone cares to know, I go to a small school called Newsome High. Enough talk about me though. Let’s get to the story!
