AUTHORS NOTE***

So if you remember reading some of the earlier chapters you will remember that Robert isn’t the tallest of kids. You will also remember that he has troubles of his own. I apologize in advance for any upsetting factors that may or may not occur. This story can’t always be happy you know. Besides that, enjoy!

Roberts Point of View

After Fiona left that night to go home I decided to hop onto my computer where I went to Facebook and Youtube like I normally do. Because my computer is stupid Youtube loaded first though I opened Facebook beforehand. Looking through my suggested music I found some Maroon Five and hit the playlist. First few songs I didn’t pay much attention to but about the third song came on and it was Payphone Ft. Wiz Khalifa. For some odd reason I love this song. I’m really odd because I don’t care for the song itself. I like the rap portion though I don’t care for Wiz Khalifa.

I’m jamming to the song and singing along like any other normal person when my chat from Facebook goes off. I figured it would be Fiona but when I switched tabs I saw that it was the kid from my school bullied me for no reason.

“Hey faggot, I see your running around with that little emo chick. What’s her name? Fiona?  Any ways, have fun with your little bitch and don’t think I forgot about what you did,” Jesse said.

My stomach turned inside out. Jesse was the tallest kid in my school. He is six foot four and weighs about two hundred and sixty pounds. The one thing that makes Jesse different from other bullies is that he is a racist bully. He is an African American and his only targets are white males.

If you’re wondering what Jesse was talking about when he said “Don’t think I forgot about what you did to me,” he was talking about the last day of school. On the last day of school I was cleaning stuff out of my locker but before I could open it Jesse walked up. I was fighting with the lock on my locker because it was pretty rusty. I finally got the locker to budge but when I did it swung open slamming into Jesse’s face. He went completely unconscious and dropped straight to the floor. It looked like something you would see in a movie. Deciding that I should leave as quickly as possible, I grabbed my stuff and quickly ran to my next class as if nothing happened. The rest of the day went on and I never heard anything about Jesse except a few kids whispering that he got knocked out cold.

My heart instantly dropped into my lower intestine. I was legitimately scared for my life. This kid has beaten a man nearly to death because he spilt milk on his new shoes. I didn’t know what to do. I did the one thing that always calmed me down. I went into the bathroom and took the coldest shower I could take.

I was in the shower longer then I thought I was because after what I thought was only a few minutes my mom came up and asked if everything was okay.

“I’m fine, why?” I asked.

“Well you have been in the shower for about an hour now,” she said.

“Oh, I guess the water felt so good that I lost track of time. Sorry mom, I’ll be out in a few,” I responded.

“Okay,” she said.

She left me alone and I let the water run down my face for a few more minutes not letting time slip away this time. I finally turned the water off and dried off.  When I got back into my room I changed into something clean and comfy before I saw the notification on my computer again. My heart sunk again. The message was from Jesse again.

“So you think that by ignoring me things are going to go away? You’re sadly mistaken. Payback is going to be hell, remember that,” the message said.
